When five strangers from an online comic book forum agree to meet after gaining possession of the original manuscript for the cult graphic novel 'The Utopia Experiments', they find themselves pursued by a shadowy organisation known as The Network who are in pursuit of the manuscript - and they are prepared to kill to track it down.

Absolutely agree - loved this show. 'Where is Jessica Hyde'?
This is one of, if not the best directed television series ever. The cancellation was brutal, and unexpected due to its popularity, but not its subject matter. The reboot that ended up on American TV was the bastard offspring of a remake with Kelly, the original creator, and produced (show-run) by David Fincher (Se7en, Fight Club, House of Cards (US), and a ton of music videos), on HBO.
That ended up in development hell, and tuned into straight trash on network tv (instead of a huge budget on premium cable), that deserved to be immediately cancelled the way it was.
Watch this. You won't regret it. It's been in my permanent personal collection, along with its soundtrack, since I was first able to lay hands on them.
