When Rachel arrives at the ranch with Marie, a fifteen-year-old fearful girl with serious anger issues, Michael assures her that she will be safe here. The following morning Fox discovers that a stream, the prime source of water for the ranch livestock, has been contaminated. Michael, Vic and Pin, who is vacationing at the ranch, set off on horseback travelling upstream in an attempt to locate the source of the pollution.
