Sadly... Yes. Whenever I think of her poor happy puppy my eyes get wet. Just a boisterous trusting puppy that trusted the WRONG human. 14 months old is a puppy equivalent to barely entering Middle School.
----------AI Overview
Kristi Noem, the Governor of South Dakota and a potential vice presidential candidate, faced criticism in April 2024 after excerpts from her memoir, "No Going Back," revealed details about her killing a 14-month-old wirehaired pointer named Cricket
According to Noem's account, Cricket was "untrainable", "dangerous to anyone she came in contact with," and "less than worthless" as a hunting dog. Noem recounted an incident where Cricket ruined a pheasant hunt, then attacked and killed a neighbor's chickens. During the event, Cricket also bit Noem.
Noem stated that following this incident, she led Cricket to a gravel pit and shot the dog, believing it was necessary to protect her family and livestock. She wrote in the memoir, "It was not a pleasant job, but it had to be done".
The revelation sparked widespread condemnation and online discussion, with some speculating about the potential impact on her political career. Noem defended her actions, asserting that South Dakota law allows for the killing of dogs that attack and kill livestock. She also emphasized that she was a responsible dog owner and neighbor and that tough decisions like this sometimes have to be made on a farm.
In the same memoir passage, Noem also described shooting a goat she considered "nasty and mean" because it would chase and knock down her children. This goat also had to be shot twice to be killed. -------
So... I grew up on a farm in the 60's and 70's. A few dogs we had as puppies killed a chicken and chased livestock. We broke them of this. By "broke" I mean discouraged the behavior until they learned. They ALL learned. I read her excerpts in more dept than this AI summation and basically she described rambunctious puppy behavior she had a short temper with and was impatient with. She is an ugly ugly UGLY person and I celebrate South Park portraying her in such a manner. I like action movies and in a few over the years someone kills a dog or puppy. They are ALWAYS the bad guy. The dog killing is to help the audience detest that villain. And the AUDIENCE ALWAYS DOES. She is a real life villain that killed her own puppy for... Being a puppy, by shooting it to death. She is a BAD PERSON through and through. In ANY Hollywood Movie, in any John Wick movie or the movie Shooter with Mark Walberg, she would be, and IS the VILLAIN!
For real? She actually does that?
Oh they are on a ROLL! Love this. Thank you for depicting Kristi as SHE IS! Psycho puppy killer!
Notice... Mr.Makey couldn't stick with it. His inner goodness took over.
Unlike Dean Cain!
South Park destroying America since 1999!
This was brutal.
Best season since more than a decennia <3 destroying America one episode at a time…and I hope also rebuilding it from the ground up.
