European leaders announced that they would join Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Washington on Monday as they seek to navigate America's new approach to ending the war after President Trump's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. NBC News' Vaughn Hillyard reports from the White House. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy backed reaching a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia before negotiating a permanent peace agreement. Police are investigating the deaths of two American tourists who died in separate incidents at a new resort in the Bahamas on Friday. Investigators are describing both events as drowning incidents. NBC News' Jesse Kirsch has the latest. Responding to a Trump administration request, three Republican-led states said they will send hundreds of additional National Guard troops to Washington. The governors of South Carolina and Ohio pledged their assistance, after West Virginia agreed to send troops over the weekend. NBC News' Gary Grumbach reports. Three people were killed and another nine were injured in an overnight shooting at a Brooklyn nightclub, police said Sunday. Authorities say multiple shooters could be involved. NBC News' Maya Eaglin reports. A tense confrontation with masked federal agents was caught on camera, when a California family's vehicle was stopped. While a San Bernardino family said those agents opened fire at the family's truck, officials said they had to shoot in self defense because the family's car ran down a couple of Customs and Border Patrol agents. From tariffs and trade wars to growing concerns over unemployment numbers, there are questions about economic uncertainty and the potential risk for a recession ahead.
