Ryan Chandler join NBC News as its Texas-based correspondent.
Chandler journey with KXAN began in December 2022, where he spent the past several years as a Capitol correspondent covering the biggest stories across the state for more than a dozen stations, including the Texas legislature, the southern border and the protests at the University of Texas in 2024.
Prior to KXAN, Ryan worked as a reporter and anchor for KAMC and KLBK News in Lubbock, Texas, where he also hosted the weekly political program, Talking Points. A lifelong Texan, he graduated from The University of Texas at Austin.
