The Last Edition

Sheldon Black is training Dean Lowell for the position of managing editor of the Morning Chronicle. He learns that a wartime friend of Lowell's is condemned to die, but that Lowell has turned a deaf ear to the man's pleas for help. Puzzled, Black orders Lowell to write a story about the condemned man.
