Ichabod peers into a closet in an apartment that he, Jake, and Jenny are looking at, and the landlord explains that the last tenant disappeared two months ago under mysterious circumstances, owing two months' rent. The apartment is not as advertised, but Jake insists that it's an edge neighborhood and the rent is 1/4th of the other places Ichabod saw.
