The Young and the Restless Tentatively to Resume Production on July 6th

As reported by Deadline, The Young and the Restless (Y&R) is hoping to resume production on new episodes beginning July 6th.  Y&R (along with sister show The Bold and the Beautiful - B&B) ran out of original episodes in late April due to the COVID-19 shutdown.  B&B returned to production June 17th for a day of filming before shutting down again to expand testing and other protocols.  B&B was to resume production on June 23rd.  Y&R will be the second daytime program to resume production.  No word on General Hospital (GH) or Days of our Lives (DAYS) at this point.  GH ran out of new episodes in late May while DAYS has a bank of episodes to last through early October.
