I love this take. Anne endorsed this take and the casting so... Good enough for me. I do really like it.I have read the books and have seen the movie. For one a series allows a much deeper dive into the characters. I rewatched the movie recently and yes. Love the series better. Despite Cruise and everyones great acting there was no getting around... The book is over 350 pages and information dense. It really needed at least two movies. A Part One and a Part Two to be done correctly. As Dune is being done now. So yes. I am glad of the renewal and look forward to much more Lestat.
And I miss Anne. Gone too soon. She still had much stellar writings left in her.
