ITV commissions six-part drama, A Confession, starring Martin Freeman and Imelda Staunton

ITV’s Head of Drama, Polly Hill, has announced commission of six-part drama, A Confession, from acclaimed screenwriter, Jeff Pope, starring Martin Freeman and Imelda Staunton to be co-produced by ITV Studios and Urban Myth Films. The series tells the story of how Detective Superintendent Steve Fulcher, played by Martin Freeman, deliberately breached police procedure and protocol to catch a killer, a decision that ultimately cost him his career and reputation.
