Univision announced today that Alejandro Sanz, Becky G, Guaynaa, Ha*Ash, Los Ángeles Azules, Prince Royce, Thalia and Venesti are joining the list of stars who will perform at Premio Lo Nuestro. The longest running awards show recognizing Latin music in the United States will broadcast live on Thursday, February 20 at 7 p.m. ET/8 p.m. CT on Univision, UNIMÁS and ViX.
Award-winning Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz, who has been recognized with multiple awards, including four Premio Lo Nuestro, and the prestigious Premio Lo Nuestro a la Excelencia in 2013, returns to the stage of this iconic awards ceremony to captivate audiences with his unmistakable voice.
Becky G, one of Latin music’s most successful and versatile artists, will shine with a very special musical performance. This year, the talented singer is one of the top nominees, with 10 nominations, including Song of the Year and Album of the Year.
Urban music phenomenon Guaynaa will perform his new collaboration with Afro Pop King Venesti live for the first time at Premio Lo Nuestro. Also, the most influential duo in Latin pop, sisters Ha*Ash, who are competing in two categories, including Best Female Collaboration, will deliver a unique performance that promises to thrill the audience.
Legendary Mexican cumbia group Los Ángeles Azules, who have 5 nominations this year, join the incomparable “Queen of Latin Pop” Thalia to perform their song “Yo Me Lo Busqué.” Thalia, who is also nominated in three categories this year, is one of the big night’s hosts.
Global bachata icon Prince Royce promises an unforgettable performance that will unite different generations. The singer is nominated in six categories, including Song of the Year and Album of the Year.
Univision also announced special performances by Mari La Carajita, DND, Manny Cruz and Aramis Camilo during “Noche de Estrellas,” the pre-show for the event that begins at 7 p.m. and will kick off this grand celebration of Latin music.
These artists join the previously announced musical talent lineup that includes Alejandro Fernández, Ángela Aguilar, Arthur Hanlon, Camilo, Carín León, Danny Ocean, Darell, Kapo, La India, Natti Natasha, Yami Safdie and Yotuel.
