TV Academy Re-Ups Emmy Wheel Deal With Networks Through 2026

The Television Academy said today it has reached a deal with reps from ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC to extend the contract to televise the Primetime Emmy Awards another eight years through 2026. The pact comes ahead of this year’s 70th annual awards show September 17 on NBC, and terms of the new deal will go into effect with the 2019 show which will air on Fox.
