Jo Jung Suk

Jo Jung Suk is a South Korean actor who is under his one-man agency called JS Company, formerly under JAM Entertainment. He began his career in theater, starring in Spring Awakening, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and the stage adaptation of The Harmonium in My Memory, among many other musicals and plays. 

After nearly a decade on the stage, Jo made his film debut as a comedic supporting actor in the 2012 box office hit Architecture 101, which became his breakout role. His versatility was further showcased by the television series as well as films The Face Reader and My Love, My Bride.

Jo Jung Suk and Gummy (Korean singer) started dating in 2013, and have since gotten married in October 2018. On the 6th of August 2020, their daughter was born. He was exempted from military service due to family circumstances. He is the primary caretaker and sole provider for his mother after he lost his father at an early age. He also quit university and entered the acting industry to earn more money.
