Born in Newport News, Virginia, David Hornsby was raised in Houston, Texas, graduating from Carnegie Mellon in 1998. In the years that followed, he worked a variety of menial jobs, and landed some minor roles before appearing in recurring roles in HBO's Six Feet Under, Spike's Joe Schmo Show, and UPN's Mullets.
