A native of the Estrie region, Louise Bombardier began her acting career there in 1969. She works as an author and actress, as well as for TV and film. Since 1988, she has divided her time between writing and acting, especially creative theater, and writing for radio and song. In 2005, she published a collection of short stories. Flambant noir (Lanctôt), and two of her plays were premiered: Ma mère chien at Théâtre d'Aujourd'hui and La cité des loups, at Maison Théâtre. In 2006, she collaborated on Histoires de pères, published by Les 400 coups.
