Timothy Patrick Murphy was born on November 3, 1959 in Hartford, Connecticut and was best know for his role as Mickey Trotter on the CBS drama, Dallas for 27 episodes until his character was killed after a dramatic car accident. He also appeared in the Aaron Spelling series on ABC, Glitter. Murphy also co-starred in five episodes of The Love Boat.
Sadly, Timothy Patrick Murphy died of AIDS on December 6, 1988 at the age of 29 in Sherman Oaks, California. His younger brother, Patrick Sean Murphy was killed in the World Trade Center during the attacks on September 11, 2001 at the age of 36.
