Vic Michaelis

Vic Michaelis is an American-born, Canadian-raised actor and improviser from Toronto, Ontario. Best known to those that know them as a voice of reason in the ridiculous and an agent of chaos in the mundane, Vic brings a specific comedic voice to characters both "out there" and close to home. They uniquely take on any archetype in their path whether being girl next door, fish out of water best friend, or teenage foreman of a non-union construction site.

Michaelis is a regular player on Dropout TV, a streaming service specializing in non-scripted comedy. Owned and operated by Sam Reich, Dropout hosts several series showcasing the best and brightest improvisers. Michaelis has been featured in Make Some Noise, Breaking News and, most recently, in the four-episode season finale of the award-winning show Game Changers. Clips from Michaelis' episodes have amassed millions of views online. Season two of Make Some Noise and season six of Breaking News premiered June 2023.

On the scripted front, Michaelis recently recurred on season two of Amazon Prime's comedy Upload portraying Mildred, a black-and-white, young-presenting grandmother living in the cyber afterlife created by Executive Producer Greg Daniel. Michaelis has also been featured in shows for CBS, ABC, Freeform, The CW and most recently, an untitled NBC Jenna Bans/Bill Krebs pilot.

Growing up between the Midwest and Toronto, Michaelis began performing living room productions of their favourite movies. From there Michaelis ventured into "real" theatre and commercial work which led to bigger opportunities. Now splitting time between Los Angeles and Vancouver, they can be seen live on stages across both countries. Michaelis is a regular performer at Upright Citizens Brigade theatre with the team Yeti and on the flagship show Elephante. When not on stage, Michaelis is a regular guest of the Scott Aukerman podcast Comedy Bang! Bang! and Matt Besser's Improv4Humans.

Michaelis is a massive supporter 2SLGBTQIA+ aid organizations and loves to connect people with Trans Life Line. Trans Life Line provides both material and emotional support to trans youth and adults to not just survive but live full and happy lives.
