Iain Armitage, born in Savannah, Georgia, is an American theater critic, and child actor. He is the son of actor Euan Morton and theater producer Lee Armitage.
In 2017, the same year he was chosen to play the titular character in Young Sheldon, he appeared in various movies: The Glass Castle, a film adaptation of Jeannette Walls' memoir of the same name; Our Souls at Night; and I'm Not Here.
