Wendy Faraone is a dynamic and influential director as well as an on-and-off-Set acting coach. A former child actor, Wendy later discovered her passion for directing, teaching and coaching. She earned a theatre degree in directing and channeled those skills toward musicals and straight theatre. Wendy returned to her childhood roots when she joined Disney Channel and Disney XD as an on-set coach. Wendy is also excited to announce that she had her television directorial debut on Season 3 of Liv and Maddie. Wendy directed at the beginning of Season 4 of Liv and Maddie as well.
In addition to her directing and coaching, Wendy teaches ongoing comedy workshops all over the country. She teaches in The UK, Orange County, Maui, New York City, New Orleans, Dallas, Branson, Seattle, Atlanta, Orlando, Miami and with Talent House Academy in Los Angeles. Her classes sell out instantly because students receive in an inviting and energetic environment the tools necessary to be successful, working actors in the entertainment industry. Wendy has coached all newly scouted talent for Disney Channel's latest boot camp and has led sitcom boot camps for YTV in Vancouver and Toronto, Canada
When Wendy is not directing or teaching, she Skype coaches actors from Maui to Florida, or works with actors at her home base in Long Beach, CA. Wendy is the go-to acting coach called upon by many casting directors, agents and managers. Her clients have booked roles on ABC, Fox, Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Wendy's goal is to direct as well as equip actors with the skills, confidence and dedication required to show up on set and be ready to work. Her enthusiasm for and focused energy on the craft prepares her actors for promising and enduring careers.
