Adam McKay is an American screenwriter, producer, director, comedian, and actor. McKay and Will Ferrell have a comedy partnership and co-wrote the films Anchorman (2004), Talladega Nights (2006), and The Other Guys (2010). Ferrell and McKay also founded their comedy website Funny or Die through their production company Gary Sanchez Productions. He married Shira Piven in 1999, and they have two children.
