Born in Damghan, Iran, Khosrow Vaziri, better known asthe Iron Sheik, was a professional wrestler who proved to be a wildly popular character, in no small part due to his rivalry with Hulk Hogan. The Iron Sheik made his film debut in The Tale of 3 Mohammads in 2005.
Khosrow Vaziri died of cardiac arrest at the age of 81.
