John M. Dwyer

John M. Dwyer was born in Detroit, Michigan. He was an Emmy Award-winning set decorator who worked on Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and six Star Trek films. In addition John was nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Art Direction for the film Coal Miner's Daughter. In total, he worked on nearly 70 films and television shows from 1966 to 2004. He passed away in California due to complications from Parkinson's disease. He was survived by his wife of 29 years and a son.
