John W. Lawson

John W. Lawson is an American actor, producer, director, editor, writer, disability & inclusion TV panelist, and TED talker.

He started playing piano at age three, started lessons at age four and studied piano for 17 years. He lost both hands and part of his arms in an electrical accident in 1987. John is the first double hand amputee to be trained and certified as a private pilot in the United States and the first double hand amputee to become a certified PADI scuba diving instructor.
