Kiawenti:io Tarbell, known mononymously as Kiawentiio, is a Mohawk actress, singer, songwriter, and visual artist from Akwesasne along the Ontario–Quebec–New York border. She was born in Akwesasne, Ontario, Canada.
Tarbell made her television debut as Ka'kwet in the third season of the CBC series Anne with an E (2019) and film debut in the titular role of Beans (2020), for which she was named One to Watch by the Vancouver Film Critics Circle. She has also played the recurring character of Maya Thomas in the Peacock sitcom Rutherford Falls (2021), and she stars as Katara in the Netflix live-action remake of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
