Peter Heppelthwaite was a British actor, director, teacher and mentor, best known to television audiences for playing Jed in the BBC sitcom The Green Green Grass. A familiar presence across British TV comedy and drama, he also worked extensively in theatre and film, while helping to support and develop younger performers through his work as a coach and creative mentor.
