Born in 1954 in Biddeford, Maine, Roger Cook earned his Bachelor of Science in wildlife management and conservation law from the University of Maine. In 1982, together with his wife he founded K&R Tree and Landscaping, and that same year made his first appearance on This Old House. At the time, he was a landscape foreman with a private company.
Roger Cook died after a lengthy illness at the age of 70.
