Born in Tokyo, Japan. She made her debut as an actress and first starred in Innocent 15 (2016). As a filmmaker, all of her three independent short films are selected by film festivals and she gains acclaim as a director too. The Goldfish: Dreaming of the Sea is her first feature film.
