Originally from New Zealand, Greta Lee Jackson writes, directs, performs and edits comedy content for television and online, keeping one foot firmly in both camps until they inevitably become one thing, which will hopefully be soon, because it makes invoicing really complicated.
Greta is best known as a presenter and occasional fill-in host of the satirical news series TONIGHTLY WITH TOM BALLARD on ABC Comedy, as a regular guest presenter for THE FEED on SBS, and as one third of the sketch comedy trio SKIT BOX who have achieved international acclaim and over 140 million views online for several viral videos including ACTIVEWEAR.
Her other television credits include DRUNK HISTORY AUSTRALIA (Ten), WHOVIANS (ABC) WHAM BAM THANK YOU MA'AM (ABC) THE SLOT (Foxtel), 20 TO 1 (Ten) REVIEW WITH MYLES BARLOW (ABC), WALK OF SHAME SHUTTLE (VH1) and has appeared regularly as a true crime expert on SNAPPED: KILLER COUPLES (Oxygen).
Greta now hosts FAIL WITH GRETA LEE JACKSON, a podcast produced by Austereo, with its second season due to be released in March 2020.
As a writer, she has several projects in development including DESPERATE a comedy tv series co-created with Rosie Waterland in development at Essential Media, and THE RETREAT – a feature film with Skit Box currently in development with Create NSW and Screen Australia.
Greta has studied improv with both the Upright Citizens Brigade and The Groundlings in the US, and clowning (yes that's right, you can study clowning) with Mick Barnfather in the UK. She has also written and directed branded content for Duracell, Sunbites & Luna Park Sydney, Netflix, Sydney Opera House and Westpac.
