David Macpherson is a Scottish sceenwriter, novelist and poet. He grew up in wilds of the Highlands of Scotland and now lives in Edinburgh. In 2022 he was named among the Rising Stars Scotland.
His original series The Rig is on Amazon Prime Video, starring Martin Compston, Mark Bonnar, Emily Hampshire and Iain Glen. It is produced by Wild Mercury with John Strickland as lead director.
His first novel titled Here Be Dragons was published in 2018.
