Cara Gee

Cara Gee is a Canadian actress of Ojibwe heritage, born on July 18, 1983, in Calgary, Alberta, and raised in Ontario. She earned a B.F.A. in acting from the University of Windsor and began her career on Toronto stages, appearing in more than 20 productions. Gee made her film debut as Lena Mahikan in Empire of Dirt, earning a Canadian Screen Award nomination and Best Actress at the American Indian Film Festival. She led an acclaimed western drama Strange Empire as Kat Loving. Gee gained international recognition as Belter commander Camina Drummer in The Expanse, a role she also voiced in The Expanse: A Telltale Series. Her television credits include Inhuman Condition, Letterkenny, Extrapolations, Bones of Crows and Sweet Tooth. Her other films include The Carmilla Movie, Birdland, Trouble in the Garden, Red Rover, The Call of the Wild and Levels. In 2013, TIFF named her one of its Rising Stars.
