Zach grew up in Santa Cruz, California, and has been acting and training in a variety of martial arts from a young age.
He received his BA in Theater from UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television, where he also received training in Aikido, Hapkido, Capoeira, Filipino Martial Arts, Kickboxing, and European Fencing.
He is an avid fan of anything Shakespeare, and has trained with directors and actors from groups including the Royal Shakespeare Company, Santa Cruz Shakespeare, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
His work also includes an extensive background in Arts Education; He has taught acting fundamentals, stage combat, and classical text work to students aged anywhere between 5 and 17 for the last five years.
