Born in Glendale, California, Edward Furlong had no plans to become an actor, until he was approached by a casting agent to play a young John Connor in the 1991 movie Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The huge box-office success brought him instant recognition, and a steady stream of work, both in film and television.
