Sam Maynard is a television producer and executive producer known for his work on factual and documentary programming. He was involved in the early production of Discovery Channel's Gold Rush, originally titled Gold Rush: Alaska, serving as series producer on the original production and later receiving executive producer credits on the franchise. Maynard also appeared as himself in the 2011 special "Gold Rush: Behind the Scenes."
