Glenn Jacobs is an American professional wrestler, actor and politician, best known for portraying the masked (then unmasked) WWE character Kane. One of the company's most recognizable stars, he enjoyed a career spanning several decades, winning multiple world championships and tag team titles while taking part in many of WWE's biggest storylines. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions to professional wrestling.
Outside the ring, Jacobs has built an acting career with roles in films and television, often drawing on the intimidating persona that made him famous as Kane. While acting has never been his primary profession, he has remained an occasional screen presence alongside his wrestling career.
Jacobs later entered politics and has served as the Republican mayor of Knox County, Tennessee since 2018. His political career has focused on local government, and he has continued to make occasional wrestling appearances while balancing his public office.
