Kailyn is the mom of Isaac. Kailyn's relationship with Isaac's father Jo crumbled under the stress of balancing their lives and raising their child, and Kailyn moved out amidst their constant fighting. A romance with coworker Jordan begins to get more serious as she turns to him for emotional support during a bitter custody battle with Jo. Through it all, Kailyn is determined to better her situation for her son while navigating her complicated relationship with Jo and struggling to finally move out on her own. She also has to deal with custody issues when her Jo starts seeing a new girl and is accused of getting drunk when he is supposed to be watching Isaac.
In the most recent seasons, Kailyn developed a relationship with Javi Marroquin that escalated quite quickly. The two got engaged during the fourth season of Teen Mom 2, and are now married. Kailyn gave birth to her second child, a boy named Lincoln Marshall Marroquin, on November 16, 2013.
