Kris D. Lofton

Kris D. Lofton (born June 24, 1988, in Melrose Park, Illinois) is an American actor whose career began as a child — he made his screen debut in the film Hardball (2001).
He grew up creatively inclined: by age 8 he had already written and recorded a song, foreshadowing his lifelong passion for performance, which spans acting, music, and writing.
He graduated high school in 2006, then chose to pursue entertainment instead of a sports scholarship.
Over the years he has built a versatile acting résumé in both film and television, featuring in projects such as Power Book IV: Force (as Jenard Sampson), Empire, Shameless, and various films including Meet the Browns (2008).
Beyond acting, Lofton has also dabbled in music and writing — combining creative storytelling with his on-screen work.
