Pamela Sue Martin was born in Westport, Connecticut, USA and, while she was a junior in high school, a friend suggested she try modeling. She signed with a New York modeling agency and gradually got into doing television commercials. She dropped out of high school for part her senior year to do a film called To Find a Man. She later returned to class and graduated. She has a successful television, film and theatre career.

While still active as a model, she tried out for a part in the Ray Stark film, ‘To Find a Man," and wound up playing the lead role. After the film was completed. Pamela returned to Westport to finish her last year of high school. Because of favorable critical notices for her performance in ‘To Find a Man,' she was called to California to co-star in ‘The Poseidon Adventure.' Pamela has also starred in ‘Buster and Billie' and ‘Our Time.' Her television credits include two ABC movies for television—'The Girls From Huntington House' and ‘The Gun and the Pulpit.' She is particularly proud of her portrayal in the PBS production, ‘The Hemingway Play.' | When not before the cameras, Pamela ~ enjoys athletic pursuits, especially scuba diving, tennis and skiing.
