A mobile gambling casino leads Capt. Chase ‘Reddick (Mitchell Ryan) and his police unit into an undercover operation which exposes an international car-theft ring dealing exclusively in luxury automobiles, in "The Wooden Horse Caper,” series premiere of the action drama "Chase," Tuesday, at 8 P.M. on Channels 2 and 3.
Also starring are Wayne Maunder as Sgt. Sam MacCray, who uses a trained police dog, "Fuzz," Reid Smith as Officer Norm Hamilton, a helicopter pilot, Michael Richardson as Officer Steve Baker, a hotrodder, and Brian Fong, a motorcycle expert.
Officer Baker pretends to be an ex-convict and is hired by the car thieves to drive expensive cars to New Orleans and back to Los Angeles. The vehicles are disguised and shipped overseas.
Albert Reed appears in his regular role as Chief of Detectives Dawson; Susan Damonte appears as Jenny, a policewoman; Sharon Gless is Sally, an office policewoman; Michael Bell is Kincaid, a small-time crook: Dick Crockett is Kensic; Michael Baseleon is Michaels, and Robert Nash is Kotell.
