Mike (Denny Miller) lands behind bars after hitting a nightclub comedian in the face with a pie, in “Lovebirds and Jailbirds.” Furious when Jackie Dare, the comedian, publicly intimates Mike married Mona (Juliet Prowse) for her money, Mike steadfastly refuses to let Mona use her cash to bail him out. So Mona gets herself thrown in jail to be near Mike. Herbert Rudley co-stars as General Crone.
