This new series surely pleased many fans of “Emergency!”. Set in an island community, it deals with the island's rescue services: police, fire, and beach and water operations. Three attractive men head the cast: James Houghton, the island's Fire Chief, Tom Simcox, the Police Chief, and Martin Kove, the Chief of Beaches. Susanne Reed is the secretary and dispatcher. Problems to contend with here are a buffalo in a saloon, a man trapped in an underwater cave, and the exciting climactic rescue involving a helicopter and an air balloon. (Premiere)
