Defector Seeks Jake's Help on "Assignment: Vienna"
On the eve of a high-level East-West trade conference in Vienna, Jake encounters a former fellow agent, now married to a top woman Albanian security Chief who says she wants to defect to the United States, in Assignment: Vienna" on Saturday at 10 p.m.
In "So Long, Charley," the woman, Elga Compani, wants certain guarantees, and Jake sets up a meeting with Major Caldwell, who is kidnapped in a plot to destroy the trade conference.
Robert Conrad stars as Jake, with Charles Cioffi as Major Caldwell. Cameron Mitchell guest stars as Charley Stokes, and Maria Schell as Elga.
