While posing as a professional killer who is about to carry out a “hit” assignment in San Diego, Calif., secret agent Jim Hunter is startled suddenly to discover that he, himself, appears to be the target of an assassin. Bassett, the real hit-man, dies in an accident, and Jim assumes hisidentity in hopes of bagging wall party who hired Bassett. Amid the surroundings of a splendid resort in which a group of oil-rich Arabs are prominently in residence, Hunter, with the aid of lovely fellow-agent Marty Shaw, tries to carry out his masquerade while, at the same time, preserving his own hide from the mysterious attacker who is after him.
