Savage Kingdom - Episode Guide

On a forsaken ridge of sand that skirts the edge of the Savage Kingdom, a hyena queen, Zalika, plots her revenge on the Marsh Lions who keep her clan in exile.

Rule of the kingdom is reserved for the strong. Five heroes, each with a unique power, head up rival clans struggling for power, clawing their way to the top.

Male lion Sekekama, the undisputed king of the Marsh Pride, must contend with his three eldest sons who are hungry for power. On the outskirts of their territory, the Northern Pride is growing a bloodthirsty lion army, preparing for revenge against its sworn enemy. Meanwhile, the kingdom's deadliest leopard assassin, Saba, works tirelessly to make sure her only son follows in her deadly footsteps.

Neo must prepare for life as a solitary assassin, but his future hangs in the balance when his mother is left seriously injured after fighting for their fortress. Pressure mounts as Neo grows stronger and his own father, Dark Eyes, wants him out. Meanwhile, on the edges of the Marsh, the vengeful Northern queens suffer a cruel blow to their growing pride when their drifter king returns.

The Marsh Pride reaches its breaking point as Sekekama struggles to suppress the rebellion of his three treacherous sons and protect his kingdom. As the Great Marsh withers in the grip of the dry season, Zalika, the hyena queen, raises new troops to prepare for her moment of triumph. And the vagabond Pale Pack of wild dogs fights for survival, driven to desperate lengths for food.

The Marsh Pride's aging king, Sekekama, is forced to lead his family into hostile territory on a mission to save them from a vicious drought gripping the kingdom. His great gamble leads him into a bloody contest against rivals old and new. But his control over one treacherous son will determine Sekekama's hold on power, and the future of his own legacy.

Led by a ruthless commander, the rotten clan of hyenas seizes power from the lions. An exiled queen is hell bent on winning back the throne for the Matahta Pride. Pula, ruler of the dark heart of the kingdom, is forced to make a terrible choice between true love and her own future. And a wandering vagrant is lured in by the promise of paradise, only to find herself trapped in a deadly hell.

Trapped by rising flood waters, Dikeledi must teach her wayward cubs lessons of survival — this brutal kingdom is no place for a gentle cheetah family. The rotten clan of hyenas has taken control, but the Makulu Pack will not tolerate its tyranny. These wild dogs have cunning experience, but their strength starts to crumble and others wait to seize their opportunities.

After the murder of one of its own, the Makulu Pack of wild dogs looks to a new leader for salvation. The Western Pride is exiled to the fringes of the kingdom as it fights to protect its cubs from enemies on all sides. And as the marauding hyena clan commits the cruelest of acts, its ferocious commander, Mmamotse, reveals her soft side as she swells her ranks and trains a new army.

Mmamotse's rule has turned the kingdom upside down. Her legacy now depends on a princess stepping up to the throne. As the flood waters retreat, Dikeledi readies her cubs for escape but must risk crossing enemy territory. A run-in with the Matahta Pride brings things into focus for Pula as she begins training her young assassin. In the Savage Kingdom, the young hold the key to power.

A mother's love is tested to its limits when Pula has no choice but to leave her young cub alone in the kingdom. The Matahta and Western Prides vie for supremacy as their king finally reveals his devious plan. With the Makulu pack training its latest recruits, Kitso prepares to wage war on the hyenas' reign of terror, while hyena queen Mmamotse faces revolt from within her own clan.

After the death of her mother, Motshidi is starving and alone. In a terrifying reunion with her father, she has everything to lose. In an act of charity, Blue Eyes takes pity, giving Motshodi a new lease of life. A violent traitor rises in the ranks, challenging the selfish princess and bringing an end to Mmamotse's rule. The Makulu Pack make one last stand as the battle for supremacy begins.

Lioness Tsebe must choose between her pride's safety and her own freedom, meanwhile Motsidi struggles to control her late mother's forest.

The forest residents turn on orphaned leopard Motsidi, meanwhile, the hyenas cause havoc, exploiting African wild dog Mogolo's weakening state.

As Mombo burns, lioness Thata risks everything to save her pride, but it comes at a terrible price.

The south of the kingdom has become a wasteland and young alpha Wame desperately seeks water for her dogs, but she suffers terrible consequences.

As drought turns Mombo to dust, leopard Phefo must travel for food, but with their mother gone, the cubs are trapped by merciless killers.

Matsumi becomes Queen of the Marsh Pride, but the price of success may be too high as arch-rivals try to bring the ruling dynasty to its knees.
