Stunt #1: Horse Drag Contestants would have to hold on to a rope being dragged behind two horses. They would be dragged 100 yards down a muddy course on their stomachs going 35 miles per hour. The two men and the two women who went the furthest before letting go would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Contestants who crossed the finish line would automatically advance. Stunt #2: Rat Pit Contestants would have to lie in a pit and be covered with 400 rats. Everyone who stayed in the rat pit for 4 minutes would advance to the next round. Stunt #3: Slippery-Car Crawl Contestants would have to climb out on a car suspended 150 feet in the air. They would have to remove a flag from the front of the hood, and then retrieve a key from trunk. They would then have to climb back inside the car, insert the key in the ignition, and honk the horn. It would be raining on the car the whole time.

Stunt #1: Truck Jump As two semi trucks drove side by side at over 40 miles per hour, contestants would have to jump the 7-foot gap between the two trailers. Contestants who landed on the second truck trailer without using their hands to pull themselves up would advance to the next round. Stunt #2: Worm Coffin Contestants would have to lie in a glass box and be covered with over 300,000 super worms. It was possible that they would also have to eat some worms. They would to have stick their hands in a bowl of super worms and draw from pieces of paper numbered 0, 1, and 5. The number they drew would represent the number of worms they would have to eat before getting in the coffin. Contestants who ate their designated number of worms and stayed in the coffin for four minutes would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Catapult Contestants would be strapped to stretched bungee cords and be catapulted over 100 feet in the air.

Jet Ski Leap; Beetle Bowl; Rope Crawl

Stunt #1: Jet Ski Leap Contestants would be riding on the back of a jet ski as a helicopter flew overhead. They would have to grab on to the helicopter skit and use the cargo netting to climb into the helicopter. Contestants who completed this stunt would advance to the next round. Stunt #2: Beetle Bowl Contestants would bowl one frame and knock down as many pins as possible. The number of pins left standing would represent the number of live beetles they would have to eat. Everyone who ate their beetles in the time limit (30 seconds per beetle) would advance to the next round. Stunt #3: Rope Crawl Contestants would have to crawl on their bellies across a 60-foot tightrope stretching between two rooftops over 100 feet high. If they flipped to the underside of the rope, two minutes would be added on to their time. The contestant to get from one end of the rope to the other in the fastest time would win the $50,000.

Stunt #1: Net Jump Contestants would have to climb to the top of a 110 foot tower and then jump twice their body length to a cargo net hanging across from the tower. Contestants who were able to hang on to the net for 5 seconds would advance to the next round. Stunt #2: Wormtinis Contestants would have to eat five earthworms and one super worm in a martini glass. Contestants who were able to do this in 4 minutes would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Tunnel Crawl Contestants would have to crawl through a pitch-black drainage system. The first pipe led to a wet and slimy culvert connected to several other pipes, but only one pipe besides the entry pipe did not have a dead end. The tunnel was rigged with infrared cameras so viewers could see the contestants in the dark tunnels. The contestant to reach the end of the exit tunnel fastest would win the $50,000.

Dog Attack; Snake Pit; Beam Walk

Stunt #1: Dog Attack Contestants would have to fire a starter's pistol and run to a finish line in a padded suit. After they fired the pistol, a trained attack dog would attempt to take them down. They would have a minute to cross the finish line. In the event that not everyone completed the stunt, the four contestants to get closest to the finish line would advance to the next round. Stunt #2: Snake Pit Contestants would have to lie in a pit and be covered with 24 snakes, including a 16-foot boa constrictor. Everyone who stayed in the pit for three minutes would advance to the finals. If anyone was bit, they would automatically advance. Stunt #3: Beam Walk Contestants would have to walk across a 6½-inch wide balance beam over 100 feet high, retrieve a flag, walk back across, and plant the flag. The contestant to do this the fastest would win the $50,000.

Sub Dive; Cricket Crunch; Speed Drop

Stunt #1: Sub Dive Contestants would have to dive into 55 degree water, swim 7 feet down, and retrieve glow sticks from the underside of the sub. The two men and the two women to collect the most glow sticks on one breath would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Cricket Crunch Contestants would each have to throw a dart at a dartboard with numbers ranging from 1 to 8. They were not told until afterward that the number they hit would represent the amount of live crickets they would have to eat. Everyone who ate their designated number of crickets within the time limit (one minute per cricket) would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Speed Drop Contestants would be hung by their ankles over 130 feet high and dropped down a zip line at 60 miles per hour. As they went over a large target, they would have to drop a beanbag. The contestant whose beanbag landed closest to the bull's-eye would win the $50,000.

Stunt #1: Hotel Jump Contestants would have to climb out of a 12th floor hotel window and hang from a trapeze bar. They would then have to let go and plummet 120 feet to the ground with only a small cable to keep them from hitting the concrete. Everyone who did this would advance to the next round. Stunt #2: Sheep's Eyes Contestants would each have to eat 3 sheep eyeballs. Everyone who did this in the three-minute time limit would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Water Tank Contestants would be hung upside-down and lowered into a tank of water. The contestant who could hold their breath the longest in the tank would win the $50,000.

Wrecking Ball; Testicles; Baby Rescue

Stunt #1: Wrecking Ball Contestants would be harnessed to a crane and lifted over 120 feet in the air. They would have one minute to pull a rip cor. This would send them swinging toward the ground and smashing through a wooden wall at 50 miles per hour. After going through the wall, they would have to drop a beanbag onto a large target. The four contestants to get their beanbags closest to the bull's eye would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Testicles Contestants would each have to eat two boiled buffalo testicles. Everyone who ate the two testicles in four minutes would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Baby Rescue Contestants would be seated in a car and submerged underwater. When a red light came on, they would have to retrieve a fake baby from the back seat, escape through front driver side window, and get the baby to a bassinet on the side of the pool. During the stunt, contestants could get air from an air pocket in the back seat.

Trapeze; Pig Feast; Traverse

Trapeze; Pig Feast; Traverse

Stunt #1: Trapeze Contestants would have to use specially placed handholds to climb to the top of a 35-foot telephone pole. Once on top, they would have to jump 1½ times their body length, grab a trapeze, and hang on for 5 seconds. Everyone who completed this stunt within 15 minutes would advance to the next round. Stunt #2: Pig Feast Contestants would each have to select a fortune cookie which contained a strip of paper with a pig part written on it. The part written on the paper would be the pig part they would have to eat. The parts were liver, kidney, heart, ear, tongue, and snout. Everyone who ate their pig part in 4 minutes would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Traverse As a semi truck drove down a highway at 45 miles per hour, contestants would have to climb across the side of the trailer using specially placed handholds. When they got to the end, they would have to climb up on top of the truck. The contestant to do this the fastest would win the $50,000.

Season 2

This episode featured six celebrity contestants competing for charity. The winner would receive $50,000 for their charity, and the others would receive $25,000 for their charities. Stunt #1: Bus Surfing As a double-decker bus swerved through a deserted city street, contestants would have to maneuver around atop the bus and collect flags from the edges of the roof. Flags that contestants grabbed while on their knees would not count. The two men and the two women to collect the most flags would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Torture Cell Contestants would have to stick their heads in a Plexiglas box with hundreds of super worms, 40 millipedes, and 20 emperor scorpions. Everyone who stayed in the box for three minutes would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Swinging Circle Contestants would have to walk the circumference of a tilted circular balance beam hanging over 100 feet above the ground. The contestant get around the circle fastest would win the $50,000.

Airplane Walk; Snake Face-off; Car Launch

Stunt #1: Airplane Walk Contestants would have to climb out on the wing of a bi-plane as it flew at 100 miles per hour and over 4,000 feet above the ground. They would have to release a flag at the end of the wing and return to the cockpit. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Snake Face-off Contestants would have to bob for plums in a tank containing 50 water snakes and a constrictor snake. The three contestants to retrieve the most plums in two minutes would advance the finals. The slowest person would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Car Launch Contestants would have to crash a car through a guard rail and launch it off the third level of a parking garage. The car would land in a large pile of boxes. The contestant who could launch their car the furthest distance would win the $50,000.

Stunt #1: Bull Riding Contestants would each have to ride a 2,000 pound bull. The two men and the two women who stayed on their bulls the longest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Eat Brains Contestants would have to play a Fear Factor Poker game to determine the amount of cow brain they would have to eat. They would be dealt four cards with possible values of 0, ¼, ½, and ¾. They would have one opportunity to trade in the cards of their choice for new cards. After exchanging their cards, their total would be added up. Everyone who ate their designated amount of cow brain within the time limit (one minute for every ¼ brain) would advance the finals. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Zip Line Contestants would hang from handlebars on a zip line at the top deck of the Queen Mary, approximately 100 feet over the water.

Stunt #1: Boat Jump As two ultra boats raced down a lake at 40 miles per hour, contestants would have to jump the gap between them that was approximately 7 feet wide and land on the second boat. Contestants who jumped from boat to boat successfully would advance to the next round. Stunt #2: Swimming with the Fishes Contestants would have three minutes to swim around in a tank containing 10 tons of dead squid, retrieve 5-pound weights, and hang them on a hook overhead. The contestant to retrieve the least weights would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Flag Snag Contestants would have to shimmy out to the end of horizontal pole jutting from a rooftop 20 stories high. They would have to grab a flag, bring it back to the rooftop, clip the flag on a pole, and raise it. The contestant to complete this stunt the fastest would win the $50,000.

Helicopter Fire Drill; Eat Rectum; Ledge Walk

Stunt 1: Helicopter Fire Drill Players will have to climb out one side of the helicopter as it hovered twenty-five feet above the cold water, then traverse underneath the helicopter using a cargo net fastened to the runners. Only after they hoisted themselves back inside on the other side of the helicopter would their time complete. The two players (one male, one female) with the lowest times would be eliminated. Stunt 2: Eat Rectum Each player's first two shots to hit the target (with numbers zero through two) would determine their score. Their score would determine the number of pig rectums - or bungs - they would have to eat! They would have four minutes to eat each bung. Stunt 3: Ledge Walk After climbing out an eleven-story window, players had to walk 110-feet along a narrow ledge filled with obstacles (i.e.: plants, fake birds, buckets etc). Whoever make it to the fire escape in the quickest time would win.

Playboy Playmates Edition

Playboy Playmates Edition

This Super Bowl Halftime episode featured six Playboy Playmates. Stunt #1 (Tightrope) The ladies would have to walk a tight rope stretching between two rooftops 10 stories high. As they crossed the rope, they would be able to use hanging ropes for support. The four ladies to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Strawberries and flies) The ladies would have to stick their heads into box with strawberries hanging from the top. They would also be sharing the box with hundreds of flies. The three ladies to eat the most strawberries in two minutes would advance to the finals. Anyone who ate all the strawberries would automatically advance. Stunt #3 (Trapped Under Ice) In a pool covered with a layer of Plexiglas, the ladies would have to enter through a hole in the surface and swim down through holes in two more layers of plastic to retrieve glow sticks.

Stunt #1: Blimp Climb As a blimp flew high above the ocean, contestants would have to climb down a 35-foot rope ladder, release a flag, and climb back up the ladder. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Bobbing in Wax Worms Contestants would have to retrieve up to 20 chicken feet from a box of 25,000 wax worms using only their mouths. The three contestants to retrieve the most chicken feet in two minutes would advance to the finals. The other person would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Car Flip Contestants would have to race a car toward a pipe ramp and flip the car. The contestant to launch their car the furthest distance would win the $50,000.

Stunt 1: Helicopter Climb Each player would hang from the bottom rung of that ladder and as the helicopter spun above the cold Pacific Ocean, they would have to climb up and into the "bird". The four players with the best times would advance. Stunt 2: Blender of Fear A simple game of craps was the key of this stunt. Each player would roll three dices, which were labeled with ingredients to be included in a FEAR FACTOR protein shake. Using a base mixture of pig brains, additional ingredients including pig intestine, durian (a pungent fruit), animal fat, rooster testes, cow eyes, veal brain, spleen, cod liver oil, bile and fish sauce. Stunt 3: Pole Hopper Players faced six telephone poles positioned in a line by height. Attached to the shortest pole (which still towered into the sky) were three flags. The object was to move the flags, one at a time, from the shortest pole to the longest pole. The person with the best time win.

Stunt #1: Vertical Gauntlet Contestants would have to cross 12-inch wide support beams between two 14-story buildings, climbing rope ladders to get from one beam to the next. On each beam, with the exception of the first, they would have to navigate an obstacle. The second beam had a truss that they would have to crawl underneath, the third beam had a see-saw that they would have to get across, the fourth beam had a punching bag that they would have to get around, and the fifth and highest beam had road cones on it. The whole time they were doing the stunt, water would be raining down on them. The two men and the two women to reach the end and release a flag the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Rat Hat Contestants would each have to stick their head in a Plexiglas box with rats.

Spiderman; Coffin; Water Cage

This episode featured six celebrity contestants competing for charity. The winner would receive $50,000 for their charity, and the others would receive $10,000 for their charities. Stunt #1: Spiderman Contestants would have to scale the outside of a building 36 stories high using hand holds and the one-inch window sill. They would have to transfer flags from one open window to the other. The two men and the two women to transfer the most flags the fastest in three minutes would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Coffin Contestants would have to lie in a Plexiglas coffin with their legs covered with thousands night crawlers, their midsections covered with 100 snakes, and their heads covered with 3,000 Madagascar hissing cockroaches. The three contestants to remove 10 white snakes from the coffin the fastest would advance to the finals Stunt #3: Water Cage Contestants would be locked in a steel cage and submerged underwater.

Stunt #1: Bridge Hang Contestants would have to hang from a trapeze bar jutting from the side of a high bridge. The two men and the two women to hang on the longest before falling would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Uterus Skeeball Contestants would have to roll a skeeball on a table with holes numbered 1 through 6 to determine the number of pig uteruses they would have to eat. Everyone who ate their uteruses in the time limit (one minute per uterus) would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Cable Plate Walk High above a hotel lobby, contestants would have to walk across a bridge made of cables and Plexiglas disks spanning from one balcony to the other. The contestant to get across the fastest would win the money.

MTV Spring Break Edition

Episode: 2x12 | Airdate: Mar 23, 2002

MTV Spring Break Edition

This special episode featured four contestants on Spring Break in Cancun competing for 50,000 pesos (around $5,000 in American dollars). Stunt #1 (Squid jacuzzi) Contestants would have to climb into a jacuzzi full of dead squid, remove their bathing suit bottoms, find another bathing suit bottom somewhere in the jacuzzi, and put it on. The three contestants to do this the fastest would advance to the next round. The slowest contestant would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Blender of Fear) Contestants would have to drink Fear Factor shakes made from various blended gross food items. The two contestants to finish their shakes the fastest would advance to the final round, the slowest contestant would be eliminated. Stunt #3 (Snake Face-off) Contestants would have to bob for plums in a tank full of water snakes. The contestant who could retrieve the most plums within the time limit would win the 50,000 pesos.

Stunt #1: Tunnel Swim Contestants would have to swim though an underwater tunnel that was 80 feet long. Along the way, there were four air pockets. The two men and the two women to get through the tunnel the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Eat Balut Contestants would have to eat two balut eggs, which are soft boiled eggs with an underdeveloped duck embryo inside. Everyone who ate their two balut eggs in three minutes would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Bike Plank Contestants would have to ride a bike across a 12-inch wide balance beam suspended between two rooftops over 120 feet high. The contestant to get across the beam the fastest or get the furthest before falling would win the $50,000.

Stunt #1: Helicopter Jump Contestants would be riding in a helicopter as if flew 25 feet above a lake. As the helicopter flew over an island of boxes, they would have to jump out and try to land on the boxes. Contestants who hit any part of the boxes would advance to the next round. Anyone who missed the boxes entirely would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Tarantula Torture Cell Contestants would each have to stick their head into a box of 50 tarantulas. Everyone who stayed in the box for three minutes would advance to the next round. Stunt #3: Water Tube Contestants would have to lie in a Plexiglas tube as it filled with water. Once the tube was full, the contestant who could hold their breath the longest would win the $50,000.

Stunt 1: Public Nudity Contestants would be required to strip down to their birthday suits, parade along the runway for one minute, then stand with their hands on their hips for two minutes at the end of the runway atop a turning pedestal. Stunt 2: Eat Roaches Fear Factor shuffleboard was on the agenda as players would have one chance to push the shuffleboard disk into the scoring area. Whatever number the disk landed on (ranging 0 to 5) would be the number of live, Madagascar hissing cockroaches they would have to eat. They also recieved a warring: the roaches' hard shells and spiny legs could damage the players' windpipes, so chewing was the key. They will have one minute per roach to complete the stunt. Stunt 3: Chain Submerge A twelve-foot deep tank filled with 300,000 gallons of icy water was their site final stunt. They will have to climb atop a fifty-pound cement block, where their legs would be shackled together.

Stunt 1: Sky Surfing The first stunt reqiured the twins to work as teams. The siblings would stand on a platform suspended 100-feet above the crashing sea below. As the platform teeter-tottered up and down, the twins had to gather as many flags as possible from the surrounding edges of the platform. Balance, timing and teamwork were crucial as one team would definitely be eliminated due to either lowest time or least number of flags. Stunt 2: Fear Factor Billards Instead of working as teams, the twins were playing against each other as individuals. Standing in front a billards table, four pool balls rested on the green felt, each with a different symbol: an egg, an ant, a squid and a chilli pepper. Each symbol represented an item players would have to eat. Players would get five shots (including the "break") to sink the four balls. Whichever balls remained would determine what the players ate.

Roof to Roof Jump; Fear Facto Spaghetti

Stunt #1: Roof to Roof Jump Contestants would have to jump from a rooftop 10 stories high and clear 16-foot gap in order to land on a lower rooftop. Contestants who successfully jumped to the second rooftop would advance to the next round. Stunt #2: Fear Factor Spaghetti Contestants would have to use their faces to dig through a plate of night crawlers and find 5 coagulated blood balls wrapped in pig intestine. Everyone who ate their 5 coagulated blood balls in four minutes would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Submerged Fuselage Contestants would be strapped into the font seat of a fuselage, submerged underwater, and flipped upside-down. When a red light came on they would have to unbuckle themselves, escape through the rear hatch door, and swim to the surface. The contestant to complete this stunt the fastest would win the money.

Jet Climb; Inverted Fall

This was part one of a two-part Championship edition. In Part 1 of the Fear Factor Tournament of Champions, the 13 players who had won before on Fear Factor during the second season competed again to compete for the Fear Factor Championship and $100,000 prize. There are five stunts. The men and women will compete separately until the last stunt. Stunt 1 (Men): Jet Climb The first stunt for the men would required stamina, strength and good ab muscles. Two at a time the players would be hoisted by their ankles, over 100 feet in the air. Four boxes would be strapped to their bodies, form their chests to their ankles. Each box contains a key to open the next box. Working from their chests down, players must unlock each box in order - finally releasing a FEAR FACTOR flag from the final box. The four men who won their competitions would advance.

Swim with Gators; Buffet; Tanker Truck

Swim with Gators; Buffet; Tanker Truck

This was the 90-minute finale of a two-part Championship edition. The remaining nine players will battle it out in the final stunts and compete for a grand prize of $100,000. Stunt 2 (Women): Swim with Gators Inside a giant-sized fish tank, several alligators dropped into the water. The gators had razor-sharp teeth and lethal claws. The women would have to slide carefully into the tank and retrieve three poles from the bottom. One at a time they would have to place the poles on a rack alongside the tank. The two women that completed the stunt the fastest would move on to the final round. Stunt 2 (Men): Buffet Each player would lie down on the Wheel of Fear - a spinning contraption bordered by three colors: red, black and yellow. As a monster truck drove over the line of cars, contestants would have to find which of six keys started the car and drive over a finish line. If their car was crushed by the monster truck, they could still continue if the car would start. The two men and the two women to cross the finish line the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Snake Tank Contestants would have to swim to the bottom of a water tank occupied by over 1,000 snakes, including a 10-foot long albino Burmese python. They would have to dig through the 1,000 pucks at the bottom of the tank and place as many of the 100 yellow pucks as possible into a bucket.

Stunt #1: Counter Balance Beam Contestants would have to release up to 12 flags from the edges of an 8-foot by 24-foot see-saw platform over 100 feet in the air. Stunt #2: Weenie Roast Contestants would play a matching game to determine whether they would have to eat the penis of a deer, elk, bull, or water buffalo. If they got the deer or elk penis, they would have 5 minutes to eat it. If they got the bull or water buffalo penis, they would have 10 minutes. Contestants who ate their animal penis within the time limit would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Swinging Rope Bridge Contestants would have to cross a series of wooden swings suspended over 100 feet high. The contestant to make it across the 'bridge' fastest would be the Fear Factor Champion.

Stunt #2: Bee Headed Contestants would be covered with over 200,000 honeybees. Once covered, they would have stand for 2 minutes covered in bees. All contestants who completed this stunt would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Watery Coffin Contestants would be locked inside a Plexiglas box full of holes and submerged underwater. Once a red light came on, they would have to figure out which of 2 keys unlocked the coffin and swim to the surface. The contestant to complete this stunt the fastest would be the Fear Factor Champion.

Stunt #1: Sage Coach Drag Contestants would start out holding onto a cargo net being dragged behind a covered wagon pulled by two horses. They would have to pull themselves up the cargo net and get inside the wagon. Everyone who completed this stunt would advance to the next round. Stunt #2: Fish Dinner Contestants would have to reach deep inside a dead 15-pound cod fish and pull out a numbered chip. The number on the chip would determine whether they would have to eat cod liver, cod sperm, cod egg sacs, or a combo plate of all three. The two men and the two women to finish their fish dinner the fastest would advance to the finals. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Pipe to Pipe to Pipe As water rained down on them, contestants would have to walk along three large pipes suspended over 100 feet in the air. To get from one pipe to the next, they would have to jump the gaps. The contestant to make to the end the fastest would be the Fear Factor Champion.

Stunt #1: Speedboat to Helicopter Ladder Contestants would be riding on the back of a speedboat as a helicopter flew overhead. They would have to grab on to a 20-foot rope ladder hanging from the helicopter and climb it. The two men and the two women to climb into the helicopter the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Worm Transfer Contestants would have to eat a shot of night crawlers, and then use their mouths to transfer night crawlers from a box to a scale. Sometime before time ran out, they would have to down a second shot of night crawlers. The two contestants to transfer the most weight in worms in 3 minutes would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Car Thru Building Contestants would have to race a car up a ramp and crash it through a small house. The contestant to launch their car their furthest from the building would be the Fear Factor Champion.

Triple Beam Walk; Glass Walking; Magnetic Car Drop

Stunt #1: Triple Beam Walk High above the ground, contestants would have to walk three 40-foot long beams which were only 3½ inches wide. The beams were suspended at different levels, so contestants would have to climb rope ladders to get from one beam to the next. When they reached the end of the final beam, they would have to release a flag. The four contestants to complete this stunt the fastest or get the furthest the fastest before falling would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Glass Walking Contestants would have to walk on broken glass with bare feet. They would throw rocks at windows numbered 5-10 to determine how many feet they would have to walk on broken glass. All contestants to complete their glass walk would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Magnetic Car Drop Contestants would be standing on the hood of a car over 100 feet high as a magnetic arm swung it over a junkyard.

Burning Building; Scorpion Pit; Rotating Climbing Wall

Stunt #1: Burning Building Contestants would have to climb a ladder and enter on the fourth floor of a firefighter training tower. Once inside, they would have to follow a hose line to a room where a fire was burning at upwards of 2,000 degrees, use the hose to put out the fire, find a rescue dummy in the smoke-filled room, and place the dummy in a basket outside the building. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Scorpion Pit Contestants would have to lie in pit covered with over 3,000 scorpions for 3 minutes and 30 seconds. After the first 30 seconds had passed, they would use a joystick to pick up scorpions with a robotic claw and transfer them into another pit. The two contestants to transfer the most scorpions in 3 minutes would advance to the finals.

Helicopter Flag Snag; Slugs; Build-A-Bridge

Stunt #1: Helicopter Flag Snag Contestants would have to hang from a helicopter skit and drop into the water below as the helicopter flew over a buoy. Once in the water, they would have to retrieve a flag from underneath the buoy, swim with it to a platform, and clip it on a flagpole. Helicopter would stay overhead the entire time to create rotor wash. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Slugs Contestants would have to eat 10 live slugs and drink a shot of cow bile. All contestants to do this in the 4-minute time limit would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Build-A-Bridge Contestants would have to make their way from the rooftop of one building to the other. Strung between the rooftops were two cables. The contestants would get across by hanging wooden slats between the cables and stepping on them.

Stunt #1: Dog Attack Contestants would have to make their way through an urban assault training building and press buttons to raise flags. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Gas Chamber Contestants would have to stay inside a room full of c.s. gas (tear gas). The three contestants to stay in the room the longest would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Car Carrier Drive-Thru Contestants would start out driving a car next to a moving car carrier going 40 miles per hour. When a horn sounded, they would have to drive their car up a ramp and into the back of the car carrier. The contestant to do this the fastest would be the Fear Factor Champion.

Stunt #1: Drowning Closet Contestants would be locked inside a Plexiglas cell as it filled with water. They would have to find which of four keys unlocked the two locks at the top of the cell and open the hatch to escape. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Ostrich Egg Contestants would have 20 minutes to consume a three-pound raw ostrich egg. Everyone who drank their egg in the time limit would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Merry-Go-Round Contestants would have to walk a narrow balance beam structure as it spun over 100 feet high. Extending out from the center were four limbs. They would have to take flags from the center and clip them on flagpoles at the end of each of the limbs. After clipping all four flags, they would have to return to the center to stop the clock. The contestant to complete this stunt the fastest would be the Fear Factor Champion.

This was a Christmas-themed episode. Stunt #1: Scooter Plank Contestants would have to ride a motorized scooter across a 60-foot long, 12-inch wide balance beam over 100 feet in the air. The four contestants to get across the fastest or get the furthest before falling would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Any contestants who got all the way across would get to keep their scooter. Stunt #2: Deer Balls & 100 Year Old Egg Nog Contestants would have to consume reindeer testicles and glass of 100-year-old eggnog. They would dump out a stocking full of small gift boxes containing numbers 5-10 and pick one of the boxes. The number inside the box they picked would be the number of testicles they would have to eat. They would have 30 seconds for each testicle and 1 minute for the glass of eggnog. Everyone who finished within the time limit would advance to the finals.

The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Horse Rectum Contestants would have to eat horse rectum. They would get three tosses of a horseshoe to determine the amount of rectum they would have to eat. Each toss would cost them 0, 6, 7, or 8 inches of rectum. They would get to eliminate one toss. All contestants who finished their designated amount of horse rectum in 10 minutes would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Sky Walker Contestants would have to navigate a rectangular balance beam structure over 100 feet above the ground. There were shortcut beams in the middle, but they were narrower than the outside beams.

Stunt #1: Barrel Rolling Over seven stories high, contestants would have to stand on top of a large plastic pipe and use their feet to roll it across a set of beams from one rooftop to the other. Stunt #2: Rat Transfer Going two at a time, contestants would have to use their mouths pick up dead rats from a table and toss them into buckets from behind barricades. Each race would last for 2 minutes. The contestant from each pair to transfer the most rats would advance to the finals. The loser would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Car into Pond Contestants would have to drive a car off a ramp and into a pool. Once the car was submerged, they would have to grab a flag, exit the car, and swim to the side of the pool to post the flag on a flagpole. The contestant to do this the fastest would be the Fear Factor Champion.

Once they got to the end, they would have to release a flag and drop into the water below. As time went on, the girder would spin faster. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest or get the furthest before falling would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Breakfast of Champions Contestants would have to eat balut eggs (eggs which contain a partially developed duck embryo), silkworm moth cocoons in brine, and liquefied pig liver. To determine the amount of each item they had to eat, contestants would use a slingshot to shoot at numbered milk bottles ranging from 0 to 3. All contestants to eat the respective amounts of food items within the time limit would advance to the finals. 

Ferris Wheel; Fear Factor Pizza; Water Platform

This episode had a snow theme to go along with NBC's Blizzard Monday. Stunt #1: Ferris Wheel Contestants would have to run on top of a narrow wheel as is spun high above the ground. The two men and the two women who stayed on the wheel the longest before falling would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Fear Factor Pizza Contestants would have to eat a slice of pizza consisting of bile-based crust, coagulated blood sauce, and stinky cheese. They would toss pizza pans into labeled buckets to determine whether their pizza would be topped with red worms, fish eyeballs, or both. Everyone who ate their slice of Fear Factor Pizza in within 10 minutes would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Water Platform Contestants would be chained to a platform and submerged in a tank of cold water. Once submerged, they would have to free themselves by finding which of three keys unlocked the two locks and swim to the surface.

This was a special all-gross episode. Stunt #1: Bobbing in Blood Contestants would have to bob for plastic rings in a vat containing over 50 gallons of cow blood. The two men and the two women to retrieve the most rings in 2 minutes would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Tomato Hornworms Contestants would use a blowgun to shoot two darts at a display of tomatoes numbered 0, 3, 4, and 5. The total of the two numbers they hit would be the number of tomato horn worms they would have to eat. They would have 30 seconds per worm. Contestants who finished their tomato horn worms within the time limit would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Skunk Tunnel Contestants would have to crawl through a pitch-black drainage system containing roadkill skunks. The first pipe led to a wet and slimy culvert connected to several other pipes, but only one pipe besides the entry pipe did not have a dead end.

Vertical Two Square; Electric Eels; Helicopter Rodeo

This was an all-female episode. Stunt #1: Vertical Two Square The ladies would have to traverse two sides of a rotating square-shaped beam structure. Once they reached the end of the beam, they would have to crawl on a rope down to a lower platform and release a flag. The four ladies to complete this stunt the fastest or get the furthest before falling into the water below would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Electric Eels The ladies would have to reach into a divided tank and transfer 6 electric eels from one side of the tank to the other. The three ladies to do this the fastest would advance to the finals. The slowest lady would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Helicopter Rodeo Hanging onto a rope, the ladies would have to stay on a barrel as it pitched and swung beneath a helicopter. The lady who could stay on the barrel the longest before falling into the water below would be the Female Fear Factor Champion.

This episode featured four couples competing as teams. Stunt #1: Save Your Spouse One person would be locked in a Plexiglas box and submerged in water. Their partner would have dive in, unlock three locks, and open the door. The person who was trapped in the box would then have to swim to the surface and pull a flag. The three couples to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The slowest couple would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Roach Transfer One person would have to get mouthfuls of Madagascar hissing cockroaches from a box and transfer them to their partner by mouth. Their partner would have to spit the roaches into another box. The couple to transfer the most roaches in 3 minutes would win $25,000, and everyone present in this stunt would be brought back for the finals to compete for the remaining $25,000. Stunt #3: Couples Hang The men would be hung upside-down by their ankles over 100 feet in the air while holding on to the women's hands.

Stunt #1: Flatbed to Flatbed As a semi truck hauling two flatbed trailers drove down a runway at 35 miles per hour, contestants would have to jump a car off a ramp and clear the gap between the two trailers. In order to advance to the next round, their car would have to stay on the second trailer, which was oiled and slick. If their car did not clear the gap or went off the end of the trailer, they would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Worm Coffin With only a narrow tube to breath through, contestants would lie in a coffin and be buried with 500 pounds of earthworms. While buried, they would have to use their hands to untie a knotted rope. All contestants who could untie the knot in three minutes would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Tumbler As a tumbler with large holes rotated over water, contestants would have to transfer up to 14 flags from one end of the tumbler to the other.

If contestants completed this stunt, they would win $1,000 advance to the next round. In the event that not everyone completed the stunt, the two men and the two women who got the most flags before falling would advance. Stunt #2: Mechanical Bull Buffet Contestants would have to eat a combination of bull parts including spinal cord, spleen, and hairy snout. Before eating, contestants would ride a mechanical bull. If they stayed on for at least 8 seconds, they could eliminate one of the food items from their plate. All contestants who finished the contents of their plate in 6 minutes would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Window Washer Contestants would have to stand on a narrow beam as it dropped down the face of a 12-story building.

This was an extended 4-stunt episode. Stunt #1: Helicopter Slalom Contestants would have to hang by their ankles from trapeze hanging from a helicopter. As the helicopter flew over a line of 20 flagpoles, contestants would have to release as many flags as possible. The two men and the two women who got the most flags would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Piercing Contestants would be strapped into a chair and their arms would be pierced by 10 needles which would get progressively thicker. All contestants who could stand the insertion and withdrawal of each needle without quitting or passing out would advance to the next round. Stunt #3: Maggoty Cheese Contestants would have 10 minutes to consume 4 ounces stinky cheese crawling with maggots. The contestant to consume their maggoty cheese the slowest would be eliminated.

Las Vegas Show

This episode featured six contestants competing in Las Vegas. The winner would have to bet half the $50,000 on a hand of blackjack. Stunt #1 (Fremont rope swing) Hanging high above the Fremont Street Experience were three platforms, each with two knotted ropes between them. Contestants would have to use the ropes to swing from the first platform the third platform. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Eye Jackpot) In a high-roller suite at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, contestants would have to play a Fear Factor slot machine with four logos: A cow, a sheep, a fish, and a Fear Factor logo. For each animal logo that came up, contestants would have to eat a pair eyeballs belonging to that animal. Each Fear Factor logo would add zero eyeballs to their plate. All contestants to eat their respective animal eyeballs would advance to the finals.

Miss USA Edition

Miss USA Edition

This episode featured six Miss USA 2003 contestants competing for $50,000. The winner would keep half her money and donate the other half to the charity of her choice. Stunt #1 (Inverted water hang) The ladies would be hung upside-down by their ankles and lowered into the water. The four ladies to hold their breath the longest before dropping a set of weights would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Fish Quicksand) The ladies would have to jump into a water tank and dig through fish scales to find metal canisters. Once they found which one of the 8 canisters contained fermented squid guts, they drink a glass of fermented squid guts. The three ladies to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the finals. The slowest lady would be eliminated. Stunt #3 (Truck surfing) The ladies would have to balance on the top of a tanker truck as it swerved down a highway at over 40 miles per hour. 

Go Cart Chicken; Fear Factor Basketball; Water Rotisserie

Stunt #1: Go Cart Chicken Contestants would have to race a go-kart down a track suspended over 100 feet in the air. They would have to stop their front wheels between a yellow line and the end of the track. If they stopped short or went off the end, they would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Fear Factor Basketball Contestants would have to shoot basketball from four predetermined spots. Each time they missed a basket, they would have to drink an 8-ounce glass of blended night crawlers, red worms, super worms, and Madagascar hissing cockroaches. Everyone who drank their respective amounts of blended worms and roaches would advance to the finals. Stunt #3: Water Rotisserie Contestants would be shackled by one wrist, both ankles, and their waist to a Plexiglas platform. As the platform spun, dunking them in and out of the water, they would have to unlock their shackles and swim to the side of the pool to stop the clock.

This semi-final round featured twelve of this season's 24 winners. The two contestants remaining at the end of this episode would win a new 2004 Mazda RX-8 and advance to the final episode where they would compete with the two winners of the next semi-final episode for the title of Fear Factor Grand Champion and $100,000. Stunt #1 (Head-to-head floor drop) Contestants would be inside a Plexiglas box over 100 feet above the ground. Going two at a time with a divider between them, they would have to search through 20 keys on the wall and find the correct key to unlock a box and pull a ripcord. The first contestant to pull the ripcord would drop the bottom out from their opponent's side of the box. The winner of each race would advance to the next round, the loser would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Milk the Goat) Going two at a time, contestants would have to use their mouths to suck milk from the udder of a live goat and spit it into a glass.

This semi-final round featured the other twelve of this season's 24 winners. The two contestants remaining at the end of this episode would win a new 2004 Mazda RX-8 and advance to the final episode where they would compete with the two winners of the previous semi-final episode for the title of Fear Factor Grand Champion and $100,000. Stunt #1 (Double helicopter drop) Going two at a time, contestants would be hanging by trapeze bars under a helicopter. As the helicopter flew over a group of 12 buoys, they would have to drop into the water and search under the buoys for flags. There was one yellow flag and one orange flag hidden among the buoys. When a contestant found a flag, they would have to swim to the matching color-coded platform and post the flag. The winner of each race would advance to the next round and the loser would be eliminated.

There would be three air pockets in the hallway, but only the three contestants to collect the most flags the fastest would advance to the next round. The slowest person would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (All-Star Transfer) Contestants would have to compete in a gross relay race. They would first have to eat a shot of night crawlers, and then transfer night crawlers from a box to a scale. After transferring 7 pounds of worms, they would move on to a box of Madagascar hissing cockroaches. After transferring 1 pound of roaches, they would have to use their mouths to toss ten dead rats into a bucket from behind a barricade. The two contestants to complete this relay race the fastest would advance to the final stunt.

This extended episode featured twelve contestants competing for a prize of $1,000,000. Stunt #1 (Heli monkey bars) In a head-to-head race, contestants would have to cross monkey bars hanging under a helicopter. They would have to cross the bars, release a flag, cross back to the starting point, release a second flag, and jump into the water. The winner of each race would advance to the next round, the loser would be eliminated. Stunt #2-Women (Leech coffin) The women would have lie in a Plexiglas coffin full of leeches. As the coffin filled with water, they would have to use a handle to pump the water out. The two women to stay in the coffin the longest would advance to the next round. The other woman would be eliminated. Stunt #2-Men (Ham & eggs Fear Factor style) The men would have to bob in for pig tongues in a tank of raw ostrich egg. After retrieving 5 pig tongues, they would have to eat one of the tongues and then eat 5 leeches.

The winner would have to bet half their winnings on a hand of blackjack. 1st Stunt (Pole crawl) Contestants had to "crawl" on a rounded pole from the roof of the Mandalay Bay hotel, pulling 6 flags off as they went, and hanging the final flag on a smaller pole two feet out. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest advanced to the next round. The others were eliminated. 2nd Stunt (Piranha tank) Contestants had to swim in a tank with over 500 piranhas and bob for seven pig kidneys. The three contestants to complete this stunt the fastest advanced to the next round. The slowest person was eliminated. 3rd Stunt (Eat African Cave-dwelling Spiders) No one was eliminated in this stunt, instead contestants were playing for for a prize. Contestants had to eat up to six African cave-dwelling spiders. Each spider eaten gave the contestant two chips (for a maximum of twelve chips).

Stunt #3 (continued) In the previous episode, the remaining three contestants had to eat African cave-dwelling spiders to earn up to 12 roulette chips. After everyone had placed their chips on the roulette table, Joe spun the roulette wheel to see who would win a new 2004 Mazda RX-8 sports car. The winner was revealed at the beginning of this episode Stunt #4 (Slippery cab jump) Contestants would have to crawl around on a taxi cab suspended over 100 feet in the air. They would have to remove two flags from the top, one from the hood, and one from the trunk. After removing the 4 flags, they would have to jump a gap to a second suspended taxi cab.

While doing this, they would have to release 2 flags from the first skit, 1 flag from the rope, and 3 flags from the second skit. The two men and the two women to get the most flags the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Maggoty Madness Contestants would have to bob in a tank of cod liver oil for cow hooves, and then drop the hooves in a box of maggots. For each hoof they transferred, they would get a mouthful of maggots and spit them onto a scale. The three contestants to transfer the most weight in maggots in 2 minutes would advance to the finals. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Head on Pipe Ramp Contestants would have to race a car head-on toward another car with a pipe ramp attached to it.

Stunt #1: Heli Water Drag Contestants would have to hold on to a tow rope as a helicopter drug them around a lake. As time went on, the helicopter would go faster, reaching a maximum speed of 40 miles per hour. The two men and the two women to hang on the longest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Cow Eye Juice Contestants would have to use their mouths to pick up cow eyeballs and pop them into a glass. Once the glass was filled to a line, they would have to drink the cow eye juice. The three contestants to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the finals. The slowest person would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Truck to Truck Transfer As two giant dump trucks barreled down a dirt road side-by-side, contestants would have to leap back and forth between the two trucks, transferring up to 15 flags. As time went on, the trucks would get farther apart.

This was a special all-gross Halloween episode. Stunt #1 (Snake coffin) Contestants would be handcuffed by their wrists and ankles and lowered into a tank with hundreds of snakes. They would have to find which of the three keys in the tank unlocked their cuffs and pull a flag to stop the time. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Eat Stink Beetles) Contestants would use a wrist rocket to shoot exploding pellets at flaming goblets. The goblet they hit would determine whether they would have to eat 8, 16, or 24 stink beetles. They would be given 15 seconds per beetle. Everyone who ate their stink beetles within the time limit would advance to the finals. Stunt #3 (Bobbing for hearts) Contestants would have to bob for 10 pig hearts in a vat of cow eyeballs and slime. The contestant to retrieve all 10 hearts the fastest would win the $50,000 and be the Halloween Fear Factor Champion.

Stunt #1 (Inverted helicopter dunk) The ladies would be bound by their ankles and hung upside-down from a helicopter. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Fear Factor Conveyer Belt) The ladies would have to use their mouths to transfer disgusting food items from a conveyor belt to a scale. These items included night crawlers, red worms, super worms, blended cow spleen, blended cow snout, pig uterus, cow spinal cord, and cow brain. There would be 50 plates of gross items on the conveyor belt. The three ladies to transfer the most weight in disgusting items to the scale before all the plates dropped off the end of the conveyor belt would advance to the finals. The others would be eliminated.

Stunt #2 (Cow parts & rotten milk) Contestants would have to use their faces to search a counter covered with dirty dishes for Madagascar hissing cockroaches. After using their mouths to retrieve five roaches and spit them into a box, they would have to drink a glass of lard & blended cow parts and a glass of rotten Fear Factor milk. The contestant to complete this stunt the fastest would win a seven day all-inclusive trip to Brazil where they would stay at Super Clubs' resort Breezes Costa Do Sauipe. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

The four contestants to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Beetle Roach & Worm Transfer In a head-to-head race, contestants would be hung upside-down over a box of millipedes, Madagascar hissing cockroaches, and night crawlers. They would have 90 seconds to use their mouths to put the millipedes in a container on the right side of the box and the roaches in a container on the left side of the box. The contestant to sort the most bugs in each race would advance to the finals. The loser of each race would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Spinning Ledge Contestants would have to navigate a spinning cross-shaped wall high in the air.

They would have to use their faces move disgusting items aside on three tables to reveal the combinations to the three locks. The first table had rotten fish parts, the second table had super worms, and the third table had blended cow tongue and pig feet. After getting their locks unlocked, they would have to retrieve a pig's foot with their mouth and drop it into a bucket. The three contestants to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the finals. The slowest person would be eliminated.

This episode featured four parent-child pairs competing as teams. Stunt #1 (Raft to raft transfer) As a speedboat pulled three rafts behind it, the kids would be on the first raft and the parents would be on the back raft. The kids would have the jump from raft-to-raft and hand a flag to their parent. Once the parent had the flag, they would have to get to the front raft and plant the flag. The three teams to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The slowest team would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Lard tunnel) Family members would be on opposite sides of a tunnel filled with pig lard and pig parts. The kids would have to grab cow tongues and crawl to the middle to hand off the tongues to their parents. The parents would then have to take the tongues to a bucket at their end of the tunnel. The team to transfer 7 cow tongues the fastest would in a seven night trip for six to Breezes Curacao in the Caribbean. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

Stunt #1: Boat to Boat As two ultra boats sped down a lake, contestants would have to leap back and forth between the boats and transfer flags from the second boat to the first boat. Stunt #2: Worm Wine Contestants would have to use their bare feet to stomp on night crawlers in a large vat. When enough worm juice drained in to a glass at the bottom of the vat, they would have to drink the juice. The three contestants to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the finals. The slowest person would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Matrix Truck Straddle As two semi trucks drove down the road side by side at 40 miles per hour, contestants would have to walk between the two trucks using the one-and-a-half inch ledges on the sides of the trucks. They would have to transfer up to 12 flags from the side of one truck to the side of the other truck.

This was a 2nd-annual Christmas-themed episode. Stunt #1: Cable Surfing Contestants would have to balance on a wet sled hanging between two cables over 100 feet in the air. As the sled raced down the zip line over a neighborhood lit with Christmas lights, contestants would have to grab candy canes hanging from the cables. The four contestants to grab the most candy canes would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Gift Exchange Contestants would participate in a gross gift exchange. The first contestant would pick a box from under the Christmas tree and reveal the contents. The second person would choose whether they wanted to steal that gift, or go get a new one. This would continue until everyone had a disgusting food item. These items included cod egg sack covered with ants, sausage casing stuffed with worms (night crawlers, super worms, and red worms), rotten squid covered with flies, and live dragonflies.

The episode featured four sets of twins competing as teams. Stunt #1 (Helicopter box jump) Both twins would be hanging from the skits of a helicopter over a lake. As the helicopter flew over an island of boxes, the first twin would let go and try to land on the boxes. The helicopter would then fly over a second island of boxes and the second twin would have to try and drop on that box island. They both would have to collect a flag from their box island, jump in the water, swim to a platform, and clip the flag to a flagpole. If they missed the boxes, they would have to swim in the opposite direction to a penalty buoy to get the flag. The time would stop when the second person clipped their flag. The three sets of twins to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The slowest team would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Save Your Twin in Bees) One twin would be chained by both arms and legs to two poles and covered with bees.

The couple to complete this stunt the fastest would win two Jeep Wrangler Xs. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Sewer Transfer) One partner would be standing at a trough and using their mouth to retrieve cow hearts submerged in blended cow parts, pig parts, and roaches. They would have to drop the cow hearts down a chute where they would slide into a second trough where their teammate was. Their teammate would have to retrieve the hearts with their mouth and drop them into a bucket.

They would be holding on to opposite ends of a rope, supporting each other's weight. When one person let go, they would both go flying into the water. As time went on, the girder would spin faster. The couple to hang on the longest would get to draw from five Capital One credit cards ranging in value from $10,000 to $50,000. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Pie Eating Contest) Couples would have to use their faces to search for 4 coins hidden among 10 disgusting Fear Factor pies. The pies all had a bile-based crust, and different pies were duck tongue pie, maggot pie, pig stomach pie, and rotten fish pie.

Their partner would have throw softballs at the dunk lever to drop them into the tank. Once in the tank, contestants would have to retrieve cow tails and give them to their partner. Their partner would then have to transfer the cow tails to a bucket using their mouth. The couple to transfer 5 cow tails the fastest would win an STA travel experience to Spain where they would participate in the Running of the Bulls. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Couples helicopter slalom) The men would be hanging by their ankles from a helicopter as it flew over a lake.

When they got to the top, they would have to hand a set of 2 keys to the women, and then drop into the water. The women would then have to use the keys to unlock two locks, open the cage, and jump into the water. The couple to complete this stunt the fastest would win $10,000 and two Sony Cyber-Shot underwater digital cameras. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Dumpster Dive) The men would have to swim around in a dumpster full of garbage and water and look for 7 metal canisters. One of the canisters contained pig uterus and one contained cow stomach.

The men would be on one balance beam holding a rope while their girlfriends would be across from them on another balance beam holding the other end of the rope. While their boyfriends supported them with the rope, the women would have to lean out and grab up to 6 flags hanging adjacent to the beam. The couple to get the most flags the fastest would win two new Mazda 3 five-doors. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Bobbing in Rats) The women would be lying in a box covered with rats and chicken feet. The men would have to retrieve 10 chicken feet with their mouths and spit them into a bucket.

This was the final episode in a 7-part series featuring nine couples competing for various cash and prizes, and a grand prize of 1 Million Dollars. Stunt #1 (Blind driver) Couples would have to drive a car up a ramp and on to the bed of a moving flatbed semi. The driver of the car would be blindfolded, and their partner would be in the passenger seat giving directions. The couple that could get their car onto the truck bed the fastest would win an STA travel experience to Russia where they would fly in a Mig-21 jet. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Save Your Partner in Tarantulas) The women would be lying in a Plexiglas coffin covered with over 500 tarantulas and crickets. The men would have to suck up blended crickets from a bowl and spit them into a tube to make a key float to the top. Once they got the key, they would have unlock a hacksaw and saw through a metal bar to open the spider coffin.

Stunt #1 (Helicopter net crawl) Contestants would have to crawl around a cargo net on the underside of a helicopter and release flags. After releasing all 6 flags from the net, they would have to slide down a rope with no knots and release 3 more flags. The two men and the two women to release the most flags the fastest before dropping into the water would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Elevated platform leap) Contestants would have to leap back and forth between two Plexiglas platforms 5 feet apart and over 250 feet in the air. They would have 45 seconds to transfer flags from one platform to the other before the platforms dropped and sent them plunging downward on a bungee cord. The contestant to transfer the most flags before the drop would win a seven-day all-inclusive trip for two to the Grand Lido Resort in Jamaica. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

The show brings another four stunt show, this time featuring a contestant who is trying to get the love of his life back from going on the show. Stunt #1 (Helicopter pole crawl) Contestants would have to shimmy out on a pole jutting from the front of a helicopter. They would have to release two flags, collect the third from the end, bring it back to the beginning, clip it, and drop into the water below. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Fear Factor fondue party) Contestants would have to bob in a pot of stinky cheese fondue for chunks of rotten cheese. After retrieving 5 chunks of cheese, they would have to eat 5 giant horse grasshoppers. The three contestants to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The slowest person would be eliminated.

All Female Episode #3

Stunt #1 (Water-tube escape) The ladies would be trapped inside a plastic box and lowered into the water. With an air pocket at the top, they would have to swim to the bottom of the box, turn two wheels to drop the bottom out of the box, escape, and swim to the surface. The four ladies to do this the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Box of Reptiles) Going two a time, the ladies would be seated in a Plexiglas box of boas, pythons, and geckos. While in the box, they would have to use metal rods to transfer magnetic disks from slots in the bottom of the box to slots in the top of the box. They lady in each race to transfer 5 magnets first would advance to the finals. The loser of each race would be eliminated. Stunt #3 (Wind tunnel) The ladies would have to walk through a Plexiglas wind tunnel and collect flags as a fan blew wind and water through the tunnel at 100 miles per hour.

This episode featured four pairs of siblings competing as teams. Stunt #1 (Tumbler transfer) As two tumblers lined with holes rotated across from each other over the water, siblings would have to make their way to the center where the two tumblers met. One sibling would be handing the other sibling flags to post at the other end of their tumbler. As time went on, the tumblers would spin faster. The three teams to transfer the most flags the fastest before falling into the water would advance to the next round. The team with the worst score would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Grab and Grind) One sibling would be collecting beetles, worms, crickets, scorpions, and millipedes with their mouth and spitting them into a meat grinder. They would have to turn a crank to grind the bugs into slop. Their partner would be underneath the grinder catching the slop then their mouth and spitting it on to a scale.

Stunt #1: Twirling Misery Contestants would be inside a Plexiglas box over 100 feet in the air. They would have up to two minutes to wedge themselves into the box before the bottom dropped out. Once the bottom dropped out, the box would spin around and cold water would rain from the top. The two men and the two women who could stay wedged inside the box the longest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Eat Live Snails Contestants would have to eat 12 live snails. The man and the woman who could eat their snails the fastest would advance to the final round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Car Jump out of Back of Semi Contestants would be seated in a car inside the back of a moving semi truck. When the truck rolled over a starting line, a green light would flash. When this happened, they would have to find which of three keys started the car, and crash it though the back door of the trailer to the pavement below.

Stunt #1: Extreme Building Plunge Contestants would be harnessed and dropped down the face of a 65-story building. As they plunged toward the ground, contestants would have to grab flags sticking out from the side of the building. The two men and the two women to collect the most flags would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Bug Windshield Contestants would have to jump up onto a junkyard car's hood and use their mouths to remove globs of red worms, super worms, crickets, grasshoppers, and stink beetles splattered on the windshield. They would then have to run over to a scale and spit the bugs on to the scale. The three contestants to transfer the most weight in bugs in two minutes would advance to the final round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Rotating Beam to Platform Contestants would start out over a harbor on a rotating balance beam surrounded by a square frame with a platform on each side.

Stunt #1: Tunnel Flag Snag While balancing on the back of a tanker truck as it drove through a traffic tunnel and ran over speed bumps, contestants would have to grab flags hanging from the ceiling. The two men and the two women to collect the most flags would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Potato Bug Bazooka Contestants would use a bazooka to fire a potato at a target with numbers ranging from 1 to 3. The number they hit would represent the number of live potato bugs they would have to eat. Everyone who ate all their potato bugs would advance to the final round. Stunt #3: Tractor Car Roll Contestants would be seated in a car on the edge of a steep hill. As four large bulldozers advanced toward the car, they would have to find which of 6 keys started the car and drive it across a finish line.

Miss USA Edition #2

This episode featured six Miss USA 2004 contestants competing for $50,000. The winner would keep half her money and donate the other half to the charity of her choice. Stunt #1 (Tilting platform) The ladies would start out on a Plexiglas platform over a harbor. As the platform tilted steeper and steeper, they would have to transfer flags from the lower end to the higher end. The four ladies to transfer the most flags the fastest before falling into the water would advance to the next round. The other two would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Sea cucumbers) The ladies would have to play a round of miniature golf. The number of putts they took to sink the golf ball would determine which of four sizes of sea cucumber they would have to eat. If they were able to get a hole-in-one, they would not have to eat anything. Everyone who finished their sea cucumber in the 20-minute time limit would advance to the final round.

This episode featured five pairs competing as teams. This episode also had an unusual twist: Contestants were not allowed to sleep for the 48-hour duration of the competition. If anyone fell asleep, their team would be eliminated. Stunt #1: Team Transfer The men would be hung by their ankles from a trolley line that would take them back and forth between two platforms on the roofs of buildings over 100 feet in the air. The women would have to transfer flags from one platform to other by clipping the flags on to their belt loops and grabbing the men's arms to ride back and forth between platforms. The four teams to transfer the most flags in 5 minutes would advance to the next round. The team with the least amount of flags would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Hagfish Transfer The women would be sitting in the top of a double-decker Plexiglas box and the men would be in the bottom.

The was a special female models episode. Stunt #1: Bound in Chains The ladies would be chained into a weighted vest and dropped underwater. They would have to undo three sets of clasps to get out of the vest and swim to the surface. The four ladies to break the surface the fastest would advance to the next round. The other two would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Get the Gator The ladies would have to make their way through an obstacle course in a swamp to find three keys. There would be a key on each obstacle. They would have to make their way over 6 buoys, jump over a boat, climb a tree, and drop back into the water. They would then have to swim to the shore and find out which of the three keys unlocked a tunnel. After unlocking the tunnel, they would have to crawl inside and pull an 8-foot long, 400 pound alligator out by its tail. The three ladies to complete this stunt the fastest would advance the final round.

This special Second Chance episode featured six past Fear Factor contestants who had gone home losers. Stunt #1: Dual Heli Beam Walk Contestants would have to go back and forth across a beam hanging between two helicopters. They would have to transfer up to 6 flags from one side to the other before falling into the water below. The two men and the two women to transfer the most flags the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Fly Shake Contestants would have to suck blended maggots from a bowl and spit them down a large straw into a glass filled with flies. After filling the glass, they would have to drink the blended maggots and flies. The three contestants to do this fastest would advance to the next round. The slowest contestant would be eliminated. Stunt #3: Hop the Train Contestants would have to race a car toward a railroad crossing, hit a pipe ramp, and flip the car over a moving train.

This was an all-female episode. Stunt #1: Underwater Tumbler The ladies would be locked inside a tumbler which would be lowered underwater. They would have to swim to the other end of the tumbler, unlatch 10 latches, slide a door open, and swim to a buoy. The four ladies to reach the buoy the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Bug Body Bag The ladies would be chained up in a body bag full of crickets, red worms, super worms, stink beetles, and Madagascar hissing cockroaches. They would be shut inside a pitch black morgue drawer. They would have to find out which of three keys unlocked the padlock to their chains, unzip the bag, and push themselves out of the drawer. The three ladies to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the finals. The slowest contestant would be eliminated. 

Family Beam Walk; Family of Roaches; Kid-A-Pult

This season finale episode featured four parent/child pairs competing at teams. Stunt #1: Family Beam Walk Both family members would have to walk across a balance beam over 100 feet high. There would be five yellow flags and five orange flags hanging from ropes. The parent would have to go first and release the yellow flags, and then the child would have to go and release the orange flags. The three teams with the highest flag totals in the fastest time would advance to the next round. The slowest team would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Family of Roaches The children would be locked in a box of Madagascar hissing cockroaches. Their parents would have to use their mouths to transfer roaches from the box to a counter-balance scale to lift up a door and release set of three keys. The parent would have to give the keys to their child and the child would have to find the correct key to unlock the box and escape.

Couples Reunion

Couples Reunion

In this episode, the top five couples from season four's Couples Fear Factor series returned for a rematch. Stunt #1 (Sliding floor transfer) Both members of each couple would be standing on a platform high above the ground. As the two platforms making up the floor slid further and further apart, both players would have to jump the gap, transferring flags from side to side. The couple to transfer the highest total of flags before both falling would win a pair of fully loaded 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokees. Stunt #2 (Water cage) Both members of each couple would be locked in a cage with a wall of bars separating them. The cage would be submerged underwater and both players would have to retrieve keys on their side of the cage and exchange key's with their partner through the bars. Both players would have to unlock three locks to open the cage, then swim to a buoy. The three couples to do this the fastest would advance to the next round, the other two would be eliminated.

Favorite Winners

Favorite Winners

In this episode, six former winners returned to try and win the $50,000 a second time. Stunt #1 (Semi truck bike plank) Players would start out on top of a semi truck driving down a highway, walk to the middle of a balance beam jutting off the back, release a flag, and return to the starting point. The player would then have to get on a bike and ride it across the beam to the trailer of a second truck. The player to complete this stunt the fastest would $10,000. No one would eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Tomato horn worm juice) Two at a time, players would have to chew up mouthfuls of tomato horn worms and spit the juice into graduated cylinders. Once the cylinders were filled to a predetermined point, the players would have to drink the juice. This would be a head-to-head race. The winner of each race would advance to the next round and the loser would be eliminated. 

Couples #2

This episode featured four couples competing as teams. Stunt #1 (Submerged limousine) One member of each couple would be seated in the driver's seat a limousine and the other would be locked in the trunk. The limo would be submerged underwater and the person in the driver's seat would have to wait for a red light to come on. That person would then have to swim to the back seat, retrieve a key, escape through the sunroof, and free their partner from the trunk. Both players would then have to swim to a buoy. The three couples to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round; the slowest couple would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Gross blow tube) One member of each couple would have to slurp up mouthfuls of blended fish heads, roaches, and beetles. That person would have to transfer it to their partner through a tube. The partner would catch it in their mouth and spit it into a cylinder.

Stunt #1: Jet Ski to Float Plane Contestants would start off on the pontoon below a flying seaplane over a thousand feet in the air. They would have to shimmy across a pole to the other pontoon, release a flag, then return to the first pontoon and release a second flag. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest (or release the first flag the fastest before falling) would advance to the next round, the others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Eel Helmet Contestants would have to stick their heads in a large fishbowl-helmet occupied by moray eels with a narrow tube to breathe through. The contestants would have to unscrew eight bolts in order to cause the front plate to pop off the helmet and drain the water. The three players to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round, the slowest player would be eliminated.

Best Friends

This episode featured four pairs of best friends competing as teams. Stunt #1 (Underwater box) One player would be locked inside a submerged Plexiglas box with an air pocket. That player would have pass handles through a hole to his or her parter outside the box. The partner on the outside would then have to screw two of the handles into a wheel, assembling a crank. Once the crank was assembled, the player on the outside would have to turn it, opening the box, and both team members would have to swim to a Fear Factor sticker on the side of the pool. The three teams to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The slowest team would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Tongue bob and transfer) Both team members would be standing by tanks, one filled with animal fat, and the other filled with dead fish and oil.

Babes, Bikinis and the Roadkill Café

This was an all-female episode. Stunt #1 (Helicopter platform) The ladies would be chained by one wrist and both ankles to a Plexiglas platform hanging from a helicopter. As the platform rocked back and forth, they would have to unlock themselves from the chains and jump into the water below. The four ladies to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round, the other two would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Roadkill Café) The ladies would have to use a shovel to chuck stuffed animals at a target in the middle of the road. This would determine the amount the amount of maggot-covered animal organ meat they would have to eat. Anyone who was able to eat her entire plate of "roadkill" within seven minutes would advance to the final round. Stunt #3 (Rotating beams) The ladies would have to work their way down a line of four rotating beams suspended over a lake, jumping from beam to beam. Each beam would have a yellow flag and a red flag at the center.

Stunt #1: Rolling Flag Snag Contestants would have to shimmy out on a horizontal pole jutting from the front of a giant dump truck and release a flag. They would then have to return to the top of the truck, release another flag, then shimmy out on a second pole and release a third flag. After releasing the last flag, contestants would have to drop off the pole to stop the time. The two men and the two women with the fastest times would advance to the next round, the others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Sand Crab Panning Contestants would be shackled by the wrists and chained to a stake in the sand. They would have to free themselves by rolling around in the sand to unscrew the shackles. Once they were free, they would have to run into the ocean, unlock a floating box containing seven live sand crabs from a buoy, return to the shore, unlock the box, and eat the crabs.

Water Paddle; Fear Factor Bar; Heli Surfing

Stunt #1: Water Paddle Contestants would be locked onto a vertical spinning wheel by one wrist and both ankles. As they were dunked repeatedly in and out of the water, they would have to unlock themselves from all the shackles, pull a release cord, and swim to a buoy to stop the clock. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2: Fear Factor Bar Contestants would use a paint ball gun containing 100 exploding pellets to shoot at a display of 57 alcoholic beverage bottles. The number of unbroken bottles after the contestant had fired all the shots would represent the number of one-ounce shots of blended maggots, stink beetles, worms, and fish eyes they would have to drink. The three contestants to drink all their shots the fastest would advance to the next round. 

Halloween Episode #2

This was a special Halloween episode. Stunt #1 (Electric beam) Contestants would have to run across a metal balance beam as an overhead generator zapped them with two-million volts of electricity. They would have to transfer metal bolts from one barrel on one end of the beam to another barrel on the other end of the beam. The four contestants who could transfer the most bolts in the one minute time limit would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Witches brew) Contestants would use a crossbow to shoot flaming arrows at a scarecrow hanging from the ceiling. The number of shots each contestant took to ignite the scarecrow would represent the number of scoops of Fear Factor witch's brew (consisting of dead tarantulas, scorpions, and bug guts) they would have eat. Any contestants who finished their bowl of witch's brew would advance to the next round. 

Siblings Fear Factor #2

This episode featured four pairs of siblings competing as teams. Stunt #1 (Spinning helicopter platform) Siblings would be handcuffed to a spinning platform swinging underneath a helicopter. They would have to pull up a rope with handcuff keys, unlock themselves, and jump into the water below. The time would stop when the second sibling hit the water. The three pairs of siblings to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The other pair would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Spider head) Siblings would have to stick their heads into a box full of spiders. The sibling on the left side of the box would have to pass keys by mouth to the sibling on the right side of the box. The sibling on the right side would have to pass the keys through a hole into his or her hand. Once the keys were outside the box, the siblings would have to unlock four locks on the outside of the box. 

New York

This special 100th episode was filmed in New York City. The winner would get to choose from five Capital One credit cards, ranging in value from $60,000 to $100,000. Stunt #1 (Tram traverse) Contestants would have to traverse a cargo net on the underside of the Roosevelt Island Tram as it traveled hundreds of feet over the East River. The two men and the two women who released the most flags the fastest from the cargo net before falling would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Rat stew) Contestants would have to eat a bowl blended up dead rat in Times Square. This would be a head-to-head race. The man and the woman to finish their bowl of blended rat the fastest would advance to the final round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #3 (Dual helicopter wall) Contestants would have to traverse both sides of a Plexiglas wall hanging from two helicopters in front of the Statue of Liberty.

Co-ed Models

Co-ed Models

All the contestants on this episode were models. Stunt #1 (Helicopter swing rings) Contestants would have to swing around a circle of swing rings underneath a helicopter over a lake, releasing a flag on the final ring to stop the clock. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest or get the furthest before falling would advance to the next round. The other two would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Bug ropes) Contestants would have to use their mouths to collect bugs from sticky ropes and transfer them to a scale. Among the bugs on the ropes were worms, crickets, cockroaches, and three types of large beetles. The three contestants to transfer the most weight in bugs in one minute would advance to the next round. The slowest person would be eliminated. Stunt #3 (Tube flush) Contestants would have to swim up into an above-water tube with 1500 gallons of water vacuum packed into it. 

Thanksgiving Show

Thanksgiving Show

This was an extended four-stunt Thanksgiving episode. Stunt #1 (Ship net climb) Contestants would start in a dingy being dragged by a cargo net behind the Fear Factor ship (resembling the Mayflower). They would have to climb out of the dingy and climb up the cargo net, collecting six flags along the way and releasing a final flag to stop the time. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Thanksgiving feast) Night-crawler green beans, maggoty mashed potatoes with fish sauce gravy, bile gelatin with African cave spider topping, beetle worm and cockroach stuffing, and sheep brain pie topped with worms. Contestants would have to choose three of these five gross food items to consume within the 9-minute time limit. For each item they consumed, they would receive one hatchet to throw at a target. 

Best Friends #2

Episode: 5x14 | Airdate: Nov 29, 2004

Best Friends #2

This episode featured four pairs of best friends competing as teams. Stunt #1 (Underwater obstacle course) Both team members would be standing on a platform over a pool One team member would have to grab a strobe light, jump into a vertical tube and swim to the bottom, swim a horizontal underwater tunnel, and clip the strobe light inside the tunnel. They would then have to return to the surface though a hole in the platform, grab another strobe light, hand it to their partner, and their partner would repeat the process. The team that clipped the most strobe lights in the tunnel in the fastest time before quitting would win two 2005 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab Laramies. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Blind leech wall) One team member would be blindfolded while the other would be on the opposite side of a glass wall. The blindfolded team member would have to dunk their head into a tank full of leeches and get a mouthful.

Christmas Fear Factor #3

Christmas Fear Factor #3

This was a 3rd-annual Christmas-themed episode. Stunt #1 (Submerged living room) Contestants would be shut inside a living room, complete with furniture, a Christmas tree, and presents. The living room would be submerged underwater and contestants would have to open the gift boxes and collect the flags inside. The two men and the two women who collected the most flags the fastest before quitting would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Dog attack) Contestants would have to run inside a cabin living room protected by vicious guard dogs, pick up gifts on one side of the room, and run them to boxes on the other side of the room. Each contestant would get one attempt for each of the three gifts and would be attacked by a different dog each time. For safety reasons, players would only have 35 seconds for each attempt. The man and the woman who retrieved the most gifts in the shortest cumulative time would advance to the next round.

This episode was part 1 of 7 in a series featuring eight couples competing for various cash and prizes, and a grand prize of 1 Million Dollars. Stunt #1 (Helicopter hang) The men would be holding a rope while hanging upside-down by their ankles from a helicopter as the women waited in the chilly lake below. Going two at a time, the men would be lowered, and the women would grab the other end of the rope and be lifted out of the water. The couple that could hang the longest before someone let go of the rope would get to choose from five Capital One credit cards ranging in value from $10,000 to $50,000. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Tuna transfer) Couples would have to race through a tank of dirty water containing various stinky dead fish, fish scales, and sea weed. To get from one end to the other, they would have to maneuver under large beams stretching across the tank.

This episode was part 2 of 7 in a series featuring eight couples competing for various cash and prizes, and a grand prize of 1 Million Dollars. Stunt #1 (Cow stomach toss) Going two at a time, the men would be standing on the shore of a swamp tossing cow stomachs to their girlfriends standing on floating platforms in the middle of the swamp. The women would have to catch the cow stomachs and put them into a bucket. Once all fifteen stomachs had been transferred, the women would have to swim to shore and touch a trough to stop the clock. The couple to complete this stunt in the fastest time would win $20,000 and a trip to Los Angeles to see the world premiere of the movie "Elektra". The winners would also get to impose a penalty on the couple of their choice in the next stunt. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. The couple with the second slowest time in the previous stunt was not allowed to participate in this stunt.

This episode was part 3 of 7 in a series featuring eight couples competing for various cash and prizes, and a grand prize of 1 Million Dollars. Stunt #1 (Blind driver) Going two at a time, couples would race to drive a car up a ramp and onto the bed of a moving flatbed semi. The driver of the car would be blindfolded, and their partner would be in the passenger seat giving directions. The couple that could get their car onto the truck bed and run over a flag the fastest would win a seven-day all inclusive trip for two to the Grand Lido Negril Resort and Spa in Jamaica. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Double tunnel flush) The men would be sitting in a dumpster with their hands handcuffed to the outside of a Plexiglas trough with their heads stuck inside the trough. As the trough was repeatedly flushed with raw sewage, the women would have to climb up into the trough and open a combination lock to release the handcuff key.

This episode was part 4 of 7 in a series featuring eight couples competing for various cash and prizes, and a grand prize of 1 Million Dollars. Stunt #1 (Snake and tarantula block head) Both members of the couple would be lying on the ground with their heads trapped inside a Plexiglas box. The men would have their heads locked in a box of snakes, and the women in tarantulas. They would have to push themselves along the ground to a set of screwdrivers, use rods to retrieve the screwdrivers, and use the screwdrivers to unlock the boxes. When the first person got free, they were allowed to help their partner escape. The time would stop once both people had gotten free of their respective boxes. The couple with the fastest time would win two fully loaded 2005 Jeep Wranglers. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Couples chain submerge) Both people would be standing on a Plexiglas trap door over a pool.

This episode was part 5 of 7 in a series featuring eight couples competing for various cash and prizes, and a grand prize of 1 Million Dollars. Stunt #1 (Truck jump and helicopter drop) Both members of each couple would be standing on the back of a flatbed truck as it drove along a pier. They would have to jump off the truck into the water, swim to separate buoys, and grab trapeze bars hanging from helicopters. The helicopters would lift them out of the water and fly them to another set of buoys. Upon reaching the second set of buoys, they would have to drop back into the water, collect a flag attached to their respective buoys, swim to a platform, and clip the flags on a flagpole. The time would stop once both partners clipped their flag. The couple with the fastest time would win two Sony Sports Network Walkman Players along with $20,000. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

This episode was part 6 of 7 in a series featuring eight couples competing for various cash and prizes, and a grand prize of 1 Million Dollars. Stunt #1 (Gross gorge) Couples would have to eat from Plexiglas containers containing 6 pounds, 8 ounces of disgusting food items. Among these items were octopus, lamb brain, pig snout, pig tongue, cod egg sac, cow eyeballs, sea cucumber, pig uterus, intestines, squid, scorpions, tarantulas, Madagascar hissing cockroaches, nightcrawlers, red worms, super worms, tomato horn worms, stink beetles, and other assorted bugs and animal innards. The couple that could eat the most weight in the 20 minute time limit would win a two-week trip to Belize where they would stay six days in the rain forest at Ian Anderson's Caves Branch and six days sailing the Caribbean in a luxury yacht from Mooring Signature Vacations. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

This was the final episode in a 7-part series featuring eight couples competing for various cash and prizes, and a grand prize of 1 Million Dollars. Stunt #1 (Bullfrog coffin) The women would be locked in a bamboo cage by two locks in a pit of bullfrogs. The men would have to run across a swamp and retrieve a key from a pit of scorpions, then run back across the swamp and use the key to unlock the first lock. They would then have to run back across the swamp, retrieve the second key from a pit of live rats using only their mouths, run back, and unlock the second lock. Once the woman was free, they would both have to run across the swamp and both of them would have to drink a glass of blended bullfrog and swamp water. This episode featured four duos (two pairs of best friends, a set of twins, and a dating couple) competing as teams in Las Vegas. The winning team would have to bet half their winnings on a hand of blackjack. Stunt #1 (Inverted fall and car flip) One team member would be handcuffed and hung by their ankles 120 feet in the air while their partner waited in a car on the ground. The person hanging by their ankles would have to unlock the handcuffs and pull a rip cord. When the rip cord was pulled, the person would drop to the ground head-first and a pipe ramp would be lit on fire. When the ramp was lit, the person in the car would have to have to hit the ramp and flip the car into a wall of road-block barrels. The three teams to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The slowest team would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Fear Factor cocktails) Contestants would be playing poker Fear Factor style at the Excalibur.

Stunt #1 (Dual heli rope crawl) Contestants would have to crawl across a rope hanging between two helicopters. As they made their way across, they would have to release up to 9 flags attached to the rope before dropping into the water below. The one man and the one woman to release the most flags the fastest would win a Capital One credit card worth $20,000. No one would be eliminated in this stunt. Stunt #2 (Gross obstacle course) Contestants would be handcuffed to a rail with one arm. Using their free hand, they would have to reach into a box of biting Amazon Tree Boas and unscrew four nuts and two washers from screws in the bottom of the cage, freeing a key.

This four-stunt episode featured four sets of twins competing as teams. Stunt #1 (Helicopter to speedboat) One twin would be hanging by a harness from a helicopter while their partner would be inside the helicopter. As the helicopter flew over a buoy, the person in the helicopter would have to pull a rip cord and drop their twin into the water. When the helicopter flew over a second buoy, the second twin would also have to jump out. Both twins would have to retrieve a flag from their respective buoys and swim to an ultra boat. Once they were both on board, the boat would speed past a floating platform. Both twins would have to jump off, swim to the platform, and attach their flags. The time would stop when the second flag was attached. The pair of twins to complete this stunt the fastest would win a $20,000 Capital One credit card. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

Stunt #1 (Semi truck rope swing) Contestants would be standing on top of a semi truck as it barreled down the highway. When a second semi with a flag-covered wall drove by, they would have to swing on a rope and grab flags from the wall. The two men and the two women to collect the most flags the fastest in two passes would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Fear Factor donut shop) Contestants would have to choose 2 donuts from a display of 144 donuts. Five of the donuts were filled with jelly. The rest were either filled with worms, coagulated pig's blood, stink beetles, or rotten squid guts and ink. In addition to eating the 2 donuts, they would also have to drink a glass of curdled milk. Everyone who ate their donuts and rotten milk within the 10-minute time limit would advance to the finals. Stunt #3 (Balance beam maze) Contestants would have to transfer flags across a maze of balance beams over 100 feet high.

This episode featured six Miss USA 2005 contestants competing for $50,000. The winner would keep half her money and donate the other half to the charity of her choice. Stunt #1 (Water beams) The ladies would have to work their way around a square-shaped beam structure and collect up to 10 flags before jumping into the water below. To make things harder, the beams were rigged with high-pressure water jets that would be spraying during the stunt. The four ladies to complete this stunt the fastest or get the most flags the fastest before falling would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Triple Dump Tunnel) The ladies would have to fight a high pressure water hose to make their way though a Plexiglas tunnel. As they went, they would have to reach up and pull down three chains and collect a key from each chain. The hose would stop when they retrieved the second key.

Stunt #1 (Water car rotisserie) Contestants would be chained into the front seat of a car as it spun in and out of the water. When the spinning started, they would have to grab a key, unlock two locks to free themselves, release a flag from the back seat, exit the car, and swim to a buoy. The two men and the two women to complete this stunt fastest would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Fear Factor Sushi Bar) Contestants would have to choose two numbered plaques with disgusting sushi dishes written in Japanese on them. Sushi dishes on the menu were the maggot and Madagascar hissing cockroach roll; the maggot and rotten squid gut roll; the red worm, super worm, maggot, and earthworm roll; tarantula sushi; the stink bug, beetle, maggot, and fish sauce roll; and blended fish sauce, squid gut, and squid ink sake. Everyone who ate both their sushi dishes within 10 minutes would advance to the finals.

Best Friends #3

This episode featured four pairs of best friends competing as teams. Stunt #1 (Double water beam) One team member would be standing on a 12-inch wide beam high above the ground, and their partner would be standing on an 8-inch wide beam underneath. As four water jets forced water down on the lower beam, the person on that beam would have to cross it, get a crank, walk back to the farthest water jet, and clip the crank on a rope that their partner was holding. Their partner would then have to hoist the crank up and use it to turn off the water jet. They would have to repeat this process until all four jets were turned off. The three teams to complete this stunt the fastest would advance to the next round. The slowest team would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Sausage Feast) Both teammates would have to choose one of six covered platters, each one containing a sausage casing stuffed with disgusting food items. Both team members would have to consume their gross sausage.

N.Y. vs. L.A.

N.Y. vs. L.A.

This episode featured four contestants from New York City competing against four contestants from Los Angeles. Stunt #1 (Helicopter rappel) Going head-to-head, contestants would use a hand-break to rappel down ropes hanging from a helicopter. While rappelling, they would have to release 5 flags from a rope hanging adjacent to them and then drop into the water below. The man and the woman from each city to get the best time would advance to the next round. The others would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Meat Locker) Paired with the other person from their city, contestants would be bound by their wrists and ankles with duct tape and locked in a frozen meat locker. Once they had worked together to free themselves, both contestants would have to dig through a barrel of lard and cow innards to find a wrench. Once they had their wrenches, they would use them to dig through an ice tunnel and retrieve keys bolted inside the tunnel. 

Newlyweds at Universal Studios Orlando

This season finale episode featured four newlywed couples competing at Universal Studios Orlando. Stunt #1 (Rope snap and helicopter rope climb) Partners would be standing on opposite sides of a Plexiglas wall over a lagoon and be holding onto a rope. They would have move up and down to move the rope over a file on top of the wall in order to break the rope in half. They would then have drop into the water and swim to a pair of jet skis which would drag them to a helicopter. At the helicopter, they would both have to climb up ropes with 5 flags attached and release as many flags as possible before falling into the water. The three couples to get the most flags the fastest would advance to the next round. The other couple would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Fear Factor Wedding Toast) Couples would have to dig their faces into a wedding cake filled with red worms, super worms, silk worms, beetles, and alligator eyeballs.

Heist Fear Factor

Heist Fear Factor

This episode featured four co-ed pairs competing for keys to an armored car containing $1 Million in gold. In addition to the money, the winning team would also win a trip to Universal Studios Orlando. Stunt #1 (Helicopter cargo net) As a helicopter flew 400 feet above a lake at 90 miles per hour, the men would have to climb out onto a cargo net hanging off the back, collect four flags from the net, climb back up into the helicopter, and collect a final flag. The women would then have to do the same. The three teams to get the highest total of flags in the fastest time would receive a key for the armored car. The team to get the least flags would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Tunnel Escape) While chained together, partners would have to make their way through a ventilation system. While crawling through the shafts, they would have to make their way through rats, spider webs with tarantulas, raw sewage, and complete darkness. At two points in the tunnel they would have to pull levers to extinguish fires blocking their paths. The two teams to complete this stunt fastest would earn their second keys and advance to the finals. The slowest team would be eliminated.

This was a special blind date episode. Four single men would be introduced to four single women, and the women would get to pick which man they wanted to be paired up with. The four couples would then compete as teams for the $50,000. Stunt #1 (Hanging boat) One partner would be driving a boat across a lake while the other partner would grab a hook hanging from a helicopter and attach it to the boat. The helicopter would then lift the boat out of the water and one person would have to climb onto a cargo net on the underside of the boat, release four flags, and drop into the water. The second partner would then have to do the same. The couple to get the most flags in the fastest time would get to choose which couple would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Crab Dump Escape) Couples would be locked in a large tank filled with 45 degree water and large Dungeness crabs. As more cold water and crabs were pumped into the tank through two pipes, both team members would have to find which of four keys unlocked caps from the floor of the tank and use the caps to plug the pipes. Because of the dangers of hypothermia, there would be a ten-minute time limit for this stunt. The couple to complete this stunt the fastest would win a twelve-day trip for four to Belize. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

This episode featured four pairs competing as teams. Stunt #1 (Human cannonball) As a truck drove along a pier with a crane hanging off the side, one team member would hang from the crane and drop into the water when they passed a buoy. They would have to retrieve two flares from the buoy, swim to a platform, and use the flares to light the fuse to giant cannon. Their partner would then be shot out of the cannon and into the water. Once in the water, their partner would swim to a boat, climb aboard, and clip a flag to a flagpole. The team to complete this stunt the fastest would get to choose which team would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Trash Can Scavenger Hunt) Teams would have to dig through two dumpsters to find items including a toaster, a shoe, a gas can, a baseball glove, a hard hat, a tin can, a thermos, and a radio. Another of each item would be hidden among barrels filled with oil, mud, rotten fish parts, and lard. To retrieve the items from the barrels, they would have to unscrew them from the bottom and match them with the corresponding items from the dumpsters. The team to match four items fastest would win a four-day trip to Las Vegas and $20,000. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

This episode was part 1 of 3 in a series featuring six couples staying at the Bates Motel from the movie Psycho and competing on the set where the movie was filmed for a grand prize of $250,000. Stunt #1 (Buried alive) This first stunt would take place in front of the infamous Psycho house. Going two couples at a time, the women would be locked in coffins with rats and super worms and be buried under two tons of dirt. The men would have to dig them out using shovels and open the coffins. Once free, the women would have to dig through a pile of dirt and worms to find a key. The three winning couples would automatically advance to the next round and get to vote on which one of the three losing couples would be eliminated. Between stunts, the couples would be staying in the Bates Motel. When they checked in, it was not what they were expecting.

This episode was part 2 of 3 in a series featuring six couples staying at the Bates Motel from the movie Psycho and competing on the set where the movie was filmed for a grand prize of $250,000. Stunt #3 (Psycho Shower Rescue) The women would be handcuffed to the showerhead in one of the Bates Motel rooms as blood rained down on them. Outside, the men would have to unscrew an axe from the bottom of an ice chest filled with disgusting slop and use the axe to chop down the door to the room. They would then have to find a key which would be hidden in a vase, a potted plant, a lamp, or a nightstand. Once they had had the key, they would have to chop down the bathroom door and use the key to free their partner from the handcuffs. The couple to complete this stunt fastest would have two options: They could accept a pair of customized bikes from Metropolitan Choppers or be exempt from the next stunt. They would have to give the prize they didn't choose to another couple. No one would be eliminated in this stunt.

This episode was part 3 of 3 in a series featuring six couples staying at the Bates Motel from the movie Psycho and competing on the set where the movie was filmed for a grand prize of $250,000. At the end of the last episode, the couples were unpleasantly surprised when thousands of Madagascar hissing cockroaches came crawling out of the holes in the walls. At the beginning of this episode, they were informed that whichever couple could collect the most roaches and keep them alive until morning would win a prize. Stunt #1 (Eat the Camel Spider) Both partners would be bound in straight jackets and have to work together to get free as fast as possible. But first, each person would be given the opportunity to eat two live Iraqi Camel Spiders, each worth 30 seconds off their time, giving each couple the chance to deduct up to two minutes off their time. The couple to take the longest escaping from the straight jackets would be eliminated.

Stunt #1 (Helicopter platform transfer) Both team members would have to leap back and forth between two platforms hanging from helicopters, each person transferring up to 10 flags from one platform to the other and then jumping in the water below. The three teams get highest flag total would advance to the next round. The team with the least flags would be eliminated. Stunt #2 (Fear Factor Barber Shop) One team member would be seated in a barber chair and their partner would spin them. When the chair stopped, they would have to get whichever haircut their head was pointing to. The options were Mohawk, bald spot, patches, the taco, sideways Mohawk, and bald. Teams would advance to the finals if both members got their designated haircuts.
