ABC on Friday morning unveiled the core group of love-seeking stars set for Bachelor in Paradise, its Mexico-set spin-off of the Bachelor franchise, which brings together contestants from both that flagship show and its sister series The Bachelorette in pursuit of another shot at love.
"Bachelor in Paradise" Renewed for Season 9 at ABC
"Bachelor in Paradise" has earned the coveted renewal rose. ABC announced that the series will be returning to the network for another installment. This marks Season 9 for "Bachelor in Paradise". Season 8 averaged around 2.3M viewers and 0.54 rating across both Monday and Tuesday nights in the fall. Ratings did sink compared to the previous season, which managed ratings in the 0.8-0.9 range and around 3M viewers.
