It was confirmed today that Alison Hammond will join fellow presenter, Noel Fielding and judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood in the famous tent for the next series of The Great British Bake Off, which will air on Channel 4 later this year. No stranger to the famous white tent, Alison previously appeared as a baker in 2020 for Celebrity Bake Off, but this time around she’ll welcome the Class of ‘23 to the nation’s best loved baking show from the other side of the counter.

Farewell Bake Off! It’s been a delicious experience and I can’t imagine a more fun way of spending my summers. But it’s become clear to me that I can’t present both Fantasy Football League and Bake Off alongside all my other projects. So, after three series and 51 episodes, I am cheerfully passing the baguette on to someone else.

Sky Studios has confirmed that the 11th season of The Great British Bake Off is two weeks into production and is likely to return to our screens later in 2020. Like almost all other TV productions, Bake Off was derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic and there was speculation that the much-loved Channel 4 bakery competition wouldn’t return until 2021. Bake Off is produced by Love Productions, which is now owned by Sky Studios.

Actor, writer and comedian Matt Lucas will be joining Noel Fielding and judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood in the Bake Off tent.

Channel 4 and Love Productions have today confirmed a new two series agreement for The Great British Bake Off – extending the successful creative partnership until 2021. The tenth series of Bake Off will be broadcast on Channel 4 later this year, with a further two series now confirmed to follow.
