The upcoming third season of Sanditon will be its last, Masterpiece has announced. “Sanditon has been an incredibly special series for Masterpiece, and we know it has found its way into the hearts of countless fans,” said Susanne Simpson, Masterpiece Executive Producer. “While we are sad to say goodbye to the series, we know our audience has a lot to look forward to in this new season.”

Rose Williams, Theo James, Anne Reid and Kris Marshall to star in the lavish drama for ITV and Masterpiece on PBS. As filming commences on brand new series, Sanditon, in and around Bristol (UK), including The Bottle Yard Studios, ITV and Red Planet Pictures are thrilled to announce casting for Jane Austen’s final and incomplete novel, which is being brought to a wide television audience for the very first time.
