Dune: Prophecy - News

The HBO Original drama series DUNE: PROPHECY, co-produced with Legendary Television, has been renewed for a second season, ahead of the season one finale debuting SUNDAY, DECEMBER 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Across Max territories, the first episode has amassed approximately 15 million viewers.

HBO released the official trailer for the original drama series DUNE: PROPHECY during a panel at New York Comic Con. Co-produced with Legendary Television, the six-episode season debuts SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available to stream on Max. New episodes will debut subsequent Sundays.

Last month, Warner Bros. Discovery shifted three of its highest profile Max Originals – "Harry Potter", "Lanterns" and "IT" prequel "Welcome to Derry" – to become HBO Originals. The company is now continuing this shift with the move of "The Penguin" and "Dune: Prophecy". Both shows will now premiere on HBO as well as launching on its Max streaming service.
