Hunting Hitler

The FBI declassified over 700 pages of secret documents suggesting the possibility that Adolf Hitler may have survived and fled to South America after the fall of Nazi Germany. A recently unearthed memo from legendary FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover states, "American Army officials in Germany have not located Hitler's body nor is there any reliable source that will say definitely that Hitler is dead". HISTORY'S new eight-part series Hunting Hitler follows a team of renowned investigators as they reopen the world's most famous cold case in a definitive search to discover if one of history's most notorious war criminals, Adolf Hitler, actually survived World War II.

Even if he actually did die in Berlin, it is interesting seeing how the upper echelon had their escapes planned and how they may have done it. It is a proven fact that a lot of nazi's were captured in South America and seeing how they attempted to hide and what lengths they went to to hide.

He died in Berlin. Hitler's dentist was captured after the war by the Americans. Two of his dental techs were captured by the Russians. Each independently reconstructed the details of Hitler's dental work from memory. Their reconstructions meshed completely, and they fit with the details of the dental work on the jaw fragments attributed to Hitler AND to the skull X-rays taken of him by his doctor after the July 20 bomb attempt. Bottom line, there is solid forensic proof beyond a reasonable doubt that Hitler died in Berlin.
