He offers help to the owner of a costume hire business who's hiding her wares, a vintage guitar shop hitting the wrong note with its opening hours, and a specialist chocolate shop that despite its sweet appeal is getting only fair trade through the door.

Geoff gives Leicester's small shopkeepers a lesson in basic maths. A crusading crystal therapist, a serious cyclist and a campaigning children's bookshop owner all get the Burch treatment.

Geoff strives to go up-market in Leeds. He tackles a lack-lustre linen shop, a struggling apothecary and a cheap and cheerful costume jewellers.
